Question:	Can these be used with bait casters
Answer:	The only difference in a casting rod would be slightly smaller rod eyes since these spinning rods could easily double for a casting rod due to their under size rod eyes. I would suggest a larger type saltwater bait cast so it will seat better .
Question:	how does the carry weight feel compared to similar rods like a Penn Prevail or Okuma surf rod
Answer:	Just had an Okuma Rockaway in my hands...Very nice carbon fiber rod. Similarly light weight as Fiblink, same skinny butt section, same matte charcole black/dark gray color. The Rockaways tend to be medium power and action. Guides probably superior. The Fiblinks tend to be heavier power/faster action. Other than that they could have come from the same factory. I like the Rockaways Okumas a lot....
Question:	has anyone used this yet for saltwater beach fishing? any pictures
Answer:	I have and i have had no problem landing strippers 50inches I do not have any available pictures but I line my reel with 30lb braid and I have no problems

Answer:	My rod is the 12 foot, it's a Heavy Power / Lure Wt 4 - 8 oz / Line Wt 20 - 40 lb / Action is moderate-fast.It is 2 pieces each piece is 73" long and the total length of the rod assembled is 11' 11". Hope this helps.

Answer:	I'm using a penn 6000ll on mine and I just a few days ago caught a 4ft long bull shark on this rod reel combo. rod is 13'3 and it was a great combination with that reel

Answer:	I have 2 Fiblink surf rods. 9' and 10'. The guides are rusted on both.

Answer:	They fit all casting rods (up to 7 foot) and most spinning rods. Does not take up any more space then the rods themselves, unlike the older plastic tube type. No more tangled rods!

Answer:	I don't actually know. I do know however that they were flexible enough to go over all my rods easily. A couple of of my Roddy were spinning rods with the large line guides and they went over them easy.

Answer:	Athough I have never fished for channel catfish I have fished for large saltwater fish for years. The heaviest Cherrywood casting rod is 10-20lb class. You want a heavier rod for catfish. Try catfish specific rod? I have a 7ft Ugly Stik catfish rod, I use it for saltwater. I use my Cherrywood for bass and inshore saltwater.
