10 best okuma carp rods
Okuma is a well-known brand in the fishing industry, and they produce a variety of fishing equipment, including carp rods. Carp rods are specifically designed for carp fishing, which often involves casting larger baits and dealing with powerful fish.
Some features commonly associated with Okuma carp rods may include:
Length and Action: Carp rods usually come in various lengths and actions to cater to different fishing scenarios. Longer rods can provide greater casting distance, while different actions (such as fast or medium) accommodate various fishing techniques.
Material: High-quality materials are typically used in Okuma carp rods to ensure durability and strength. Graphite and carbon fiber are common materials known for their lightweight yet robust properties.
Guides: The rod guides are crucial for smooth line flow during casting and retrieving. Okuma carp rods often feature quality guides to minimize friction and maximize casting performance.
Handle: Comfortable and ergonomic handles are essential for long hours of fishing. Okuma carp rods may come with handles designed for a secure grip and reduced fatigue during extended fishing sessions.
Reel Seat: The reel seat is where the fishing reel is attached to the rod. Okuma carp rods likely have reliable reel seats designed to securely hold the reel in place.
Power and Test Curve: These characteristics indicate the strength and the amount of pressure a rod can handle. Okuma carp rods may be available in different power and test curve ratings to match the angler's preferences and the type of carp fishing they intend to do.
Aesthetics: While not affecting performance, the overall design and aesthetics of Okuma carp rods may appeal to anglers with a preference for a particular look.
It's important to note that specific models may have unique features, and anglers should consider their personal preferences, fishing style, and the type of carp they intend to catch when choosing an Okuma carp rod.Reading reviews and consulting with experienced anglers can also provide valuable insights into the performance and durability of specific models.

User questions & answers
Question: | Does it have a sensitive tip |
Answer: | Two different types of systems. Although the M can be used with just about any EOS lens, via an adapter, the image will be cropped, so for example a 35mm lens will be the same as a 50mm lens etc. Canon makes great lenses, I have owned 20 or more of them, but if you are going to spend the money on a full format lens, then I would suggest using it on an uncropped sensor camera like a 5D mark iii. The full format lenses are much larger and heavier then their cropped sensor counterparts. The FujiFilm 35mm 1.4 is less than 1/2 the weight of the Canon 35mm 1.4 and it is about 1/3 the price. Both are stellar lenses. In fact the Canon 35mm 1.4 L is one of my all time favorite lenses. But given the weight and size of that lens paired with any of Canon's full frame or cropped sensor cameras including the M, I would rather spend the day at Disneyland or hiking around the country with the FujiFilm. But if the weight is no issue for you and you already own some great Canon glass then buy the M. In my personal experience, the FujiFilm lenses are Razor sharp. I own 5 of them and each are on par with some of the best glass out there. The bokeh is a little nervous, not as creamy as the Canon L glass but better than most of Canon's consumer level lenses. But I find that the camera and lenses from my X-Pro are so light that I take the camera everywhere, where as I found myself leaving my full frame Canon at home before I moved to the FujiFilm. |
Question: | Anyone had issues with arriving damaged? I've ordered a rod off Amazon before and guides were damaged since it was shipped in a box instead of tube |
Answer: | X-E2 is the next generation after X-E1. X-E1 in its turn is the same as X-Pro1, except X-E1 is smaller, has hybrid viewfinder replaced with higher-resolution electronic-only one, added external microphone/shutter release control connector, and some other minor differences. The rest of the differences are the same as between X-E1 and X-E2 -- X-E2 has faster processor, new sensor with faster autofocus (built-in phase detection sensors as opposed to contrast detection only in X-Pro1 and X-E1) and 14-bit color depth, split image focus view and other firmware improvements. http://www.dpreview.com/previews/fujifilm-x-e2/ has more complete list. |
Question: | Will this rod perform well for smaller fish also |
Answer: | yes |
Question: | How do I take the rod apart? I put the rod in the handle and realised they weren't lined up properly, the reel is on the wrong side of the pole |
Answer: | good |

With input from some of the top fishermen on these waters we developed the Celilo series. Throwing modesty out the window we nailed these actions and developed the perfect salmon, trout and bottom bouncing graphite rods. User questions & answers
Question: | Can I put 15 lb braid line on 9.6 mla |
Answer: | I don't think it matters. This is quite an old designThe processing time is rather slow so anything faster than 45mb/s is probably wasted but I've not tried. The full manual is available as a download on the Leica Site. |
Question: | Line weight |
Answer: | It takes portraits very well, but not well enough to warrant the $1800 price tag. It does not distort features whatsoever. If you want a camera that will out-perform this Leica for 1/3rd of the price, look into the Olympus E-PL5. It's better in every respect and with the money you'll save, you can buy some additional lenses. |
Question: | how long is the butt of the rod on the 10' model |
Answer: | No, there are currently 5 great lens for the Fujifilm X Mount. This is a different mount than the Fujica X Mount. |
Question: | Is it a spinning, casting, or bait caster |
Answer: | No. |

At Okuma Fishing Tackle, the expectation is that every product, at every price, be the absolute best it can be. And as new technologies become available, our customers need to benefit. With this in mind, redeveloped EVx Musky rods take an award-winning rod line and make it even better. Specific EVx Musky rod actions have not changed. The blanks continue to be constructed from powerful and responsive 24-Ton carbon. One primary difference, however, is that new models are now equipped with Okuma UFR, Unidirectional Fiber Reinforcement, technology. UFR adds a layer of unidirectional fiber to the tip section of the rod. This seamless integration delivers a 3X increase in strength and lifting power in the tip. Functionally, UFR fortifies the tip against breakage when casting heavy lures or putting hard hooksets on big pike and musky right near the boat. EVx B-Series Musky rods also include upgraded rod guides. The guide system now features Sea Guide double-foot, deep-press stainless steel guide frames. The tip guide features Sea Guide's "RS" ring for unmatched hardness and durability. The guide system anticipates braided lines and provides rock-solid foundation and a long service life.
- Responsive and durable 24-ton carbon rod blanks
- UFR: Unidirectional Fiber Reinforced rod tip technology increases rod tip lifting power by 3 times
- Double foot deep press stainless steel Sea Guide frames

User questions & answers
Question: | What’s the line rating?how many pieces |
Answer: | Yes, the Fuji X100F is wireless compatible for image transfers; however, it’s slow and would recommend using a USB cord or plugging in your SD card to your computer- instead. |
Question: | How long when collapsed |
Answer: | You are quite correct. I found myself inadvertently pressing it frequently when I first began shooting with the X100F. That's why I purchased the Grip-Case Pro by JB Camera designs and the Thumb-Up Grip that slides into the hotshoe. The X100F is more difficult to hold than the original X100. In the 8 months of shooting with it, I've become accustomed to where my fingers need to be. The thumb grip slipped out while hiking one time and was lost in early November and I'm not going to replace it. It had helped at first but I shoot mostly in manual focus mode with assist from the AEL/AFL button and the thumb grip would get in the way. I've found I'm so accustomed to the X100F now that I no longer need that thumb grip. When I grasp the X100F to bring it out of my camera bag, my fingers grip along the Grip-Case Pro. I find now that the Q button is rarely pressed accidentally. I went with the Grip-Case Pro as the half cases I tried that were leather did nothing to improve the grip, actually even worsening the grip on the camera. Okay, so a bit of a long-winded reply but I hope this helps. |
Question: | What’s the line rating |
Answer: | Things that are within normal viewing distance. Close-ups will look good - but far away things will look very small. The 50mm lens extention doesnt help much. So this may not be the camera to capture the owls. This camera is more for high quality street photography, full body portraits, landscapes, and other general photography. Also it doesnt attract attention on the street and easy to carry around. |
Question: | Does this rod come in medium power |
Answer: | no fixed lense fixed zoom, but amazing quality |
- Multi-disc, oiled felt drag system
- Quick-Set anti-reverse roller bearing
- Precision machine cut brass pinion gear
- Corrosion-resistant graphite body
- Rigid, forged zinc, black anodized handle design

Answer: | No further than 2 inches of the IR "eye" of the device. |

Answer: | Yes,it does.Thank you! |

Choosing The Correct Size Ceymar Spinning Reel For Your Fish
The smallest Ceymar in the family, the C-10 is perfect for 2- to 6-pound test fishing line. A great choice for fishing trout, crappie, bluegill, sunfish and small perch where larger gear can easily over power fish. Pair it with an ultra-light fishing rod for a great combination. The C-10 is also a great choice for small ice fishing outfits.
C-30, C-40: Versatile Freshwater Performers
These intermediate sizes suite the vast majority of anglers that fish for bass, walleye, steelhead, carp, catfish and more. The 30 size is more for finesse applications like drop-shotting bass or jigging walleye with 6- to 8-pound line. The 40 size has larger capacity, for bigger lures and fish like steelhead and catfish with 10- to 12-pound line.
C-55: Great For Inshore Saltwater Fishing
The 55-size spinning reel offers a lot of versatility in inshore saltwater environments. Striped bass, snook, redfish, shallow water bottom fish are all in the wheelhouse of this highly capable reel. It will hold roughly 240-yards of 15-pound monofilament line. Many will fish this reel with 20- to 30-pound braided lines.
C-65: Pier, Jetty & Big Water Fishing
At the 65-size, Ceymar reels come equipped with oversized Ergo Grip for exceptional cranking power. It's the reel of choice for bigger water applications where a lot of line capacity is necessary. In saltwater, the C-65 will be great for fishing over reefs or casting long distances from piers and jetties. In freshwater, this reel will often be fished for catfish in big rivers and lakes.
Easy To Own, Wonderful To Fish
The sleek design and smooth performance of Ceymar spinning reels create a fantastic fishing experience for all anglers. Constructed on a fluid 8-bearing drive system and featuring Okuma precision elliptical gearing, Ceymar delivers a full line-up of advanced performance features. A rigid, machined aluminum spool creates a foundation of strength for monofilament and braided fishing lines.
Okuma Fishing Tackle, Inspired Fishing
The heavy-duty solid aluminum bail wire and oversized line roller delivers confident performance over the long term. The rotor system features Okuma RESII computer balancing, so Ceymar spins even at high speed without developing annoying wobble. A forged aluminum handle arm offers complete control over the reel while custom EVA handle knobs are supremely comfortable. Anglers will notice the Blade Body Design. Refined and compact, the Blade Body Design reduces bulk and minimizes overall size of the Ceymar spinning reel, so anglers can focus on the the fish they're catching.
