Answer:	It does not specify, but I can say it will handle a 6“ sp minnow (1 1/9 oz) and had Landes multiple 20+ lb. striped bass. I haven’t thrown anything heavier. A decent rod for the price.

Answer:	I could not find a recommended lure weight on the rod, just a line weight of 8-17 lb. I use 12 lb test for salmon casting a 1/2 oz lure a fair distance and a 3/4 lure the best. Never tried a 1/8 oz lure but I doubt it would cast very far.

Answer:	The MH rod will cast 3-5 oz. it's a pretty heavy stick.

Answer:	The Nomad rod is a pretty heavy duty stick. With the lighter medium tip, it would work with the Baitfeeder 50a, but I would find it out of balance. (Over-rodded, under-reeled. A 7000-8000 size spinning reel is a good balance. I sometimes use a Penn Spinfisher 7500 on mine. For Conventional reels, a 30-50 size is about right. If you are set on using the Baitfeeder 50a, Okuma also offers a Nomad Xpress, which is the same rod blank, but lighter and smaller grips and hardware, and comes in a 20-40 line weight model, which would be about perfect. (only one tip, but a lot more reasonable $)

Answer:	You can use braid with the SST rods but I would not recommend using an SST rod for big swimbaits. The SST rods are salmon / steelhead specific rods which feature light tips.

Answer:	I didn’t know that they make a 9’ 6” rod. I know that they came in a 8.6 a 10. 6 and a 9. I use a 9. 6. Two peace rod. Because it fits in my car. Most guys like the one peace rod long or shorter, it depends on the individual. One peace are more sensitive in the strike feel. It’s up to the individual person.

Answer:	If it from normal usage then contact Okuma for warranty. If my accident/mistake then try to repair it. Epoxy it first then rod wrap the area with 2" overlapping on each side. Put flexcoat on it to finish it off. Look more information on flexcoat website or youtube.

Answer:	I use the Cedros 40clf on mine. I have put a 50 on it too. The 40 manages good sized Redfish, Stripers up to 39" and small Mahi Mahi, Lesser Amberjacks, Bonito, Albacore and Yellow Tail. I use food braid and dampen that with flurocarbon leader. Drag is the issue and line test that will not over stress the rods test weight. I believe you will be happy with the combinations.

Answer:	I'd go with the 40. I have the quantum Cabo 40 on it and it balances perfectly. Since everyone has different preference, you should just try it on b4 you buy if you want the perfect match.

Answer:	I have the NTi-S-703ML-M 7' model this the longest of the three sections is 30" and the case is about 32". It does fit well in the overhead compartment on a plane.

Answer:	I would go with the Cedros 40, although I use the the Okuma Avenger ABF65. It has been a great combo for me..

Answer:	Without measuring, I would say 30" long, 4" wide and 2" deep. All Nomad Cases are the same the rods are 3 pieces plus an additional weight tip are place on top by 2s of each other in a zippered and padded case. I typically put these in a checked pull bag. They are padded enough you could check it. I have never tried to carry one on a flight as I doubt it would be permitted. I do have 5 different rods and the casies are identical. The cases are durable and I have had them around 6 years.

Answer:	This is a difficult question to answer, because it depends how you are fishing as well as where you are fishing. On of our top pro-staff in the Pacific Northwest that specializes in Kokanee fishing recommends using 10-12 lbs monofilament for his trolling. Monofilament is recommended, because of the stretch factor which helps with the and Kokanee’s soft mouth. The Coldwater 350 holds 250-yds of 12-lbs monofilament
Question:	Is this reel used for salmon fishing? What is the differences between 354A and 354D
Answer:	i used it for lake trout and pike fishing with 30 pound braid line
Question:	Does the line counter on this reel work for surf casting long distances at high speeds
Answer:	I would not recommend using a counter reel for long cast applications. The added transmission gears that drive the counter will not allow the reel to freespool as freely as casting reel without a counter.
