Answer:	It is only for 120 volts AC. The motor will burn-up if you try.

Answer:	No. The saw at its highest point is only 3 1/4 inches from table to the tip of the blade. In order to cut anything thicker you would need to flip the wood over to finish the cut.

Question:	Has anyone thrown a 4oz weight with this rod? How did it perform
Answer:	Yes it will perform as you want it to as long as you go with the MH action. I use 4oz spider weights plus the weight of large baits and this rod will throw them. It handles bull redfish and sharks with no problem. If you plan on throwing weights greater than 6oz I would recommend going with XH.
Question:	What csx stands for? and what is the difference between cedros surf and cedros surf csx
Answer:	The CSX is the newest generation of the Cedros surf rods. The Cedros CSX rod is lighter and features smaller guides and an upgraded reel seat with aluminum hood and locking nut.

Answer:	I use the Cedros 40clf on mine. I have put a 50 on it too. The 40 manages good sized Redfish, Stripers up to 39" and small Mahi Mahi, Lesser Amberjacks, Bonito, Albacore and Yellow Tail. I use food braid and dampen that with flurocarbon leader. Drag is the issue and line test that will not over stress the rods test weight. I believe you will be happy with the combinations.

Answer:	I'd go with the 40. I have the quantum Cabo 40 on it and it balances perfectly. Since everyone has different preference, you should just try it on b4 you buy if you want the perfect match.
Question:	What is the length of the the longest section? I'm thinking about pack-ability. The product description indicates 16" but that does not add up
Answer:	I have the NTi-S-703ML-M 7' model this the longest of the three sections is 30" and the case is about 32". It does fit well in the overhead compartment on a plane.

Answer:	I would go with the Cedros 40, although I use the the Okuma Avenger ABF65. It has been a great combo for me..

Answer:	Quick answer....whether it's braid or mono as the main line, rule of thumb try not to exceed the maximum lb. rating of the rod. That being said I wouldn't go any higher than 30lb. braid as the main line with mono top shot 25 lbs. maximum. A short leader of fluorocarbon to hook can be higher.

Answer:	The rod I have does not have the split grip. The grip is continuous from reel seat to butt. The BG 4500 will work on the rod. The 5000 would probably be a little better because it is a pretty powerful rod. I have a Quantum Cabo 80 on mine.
