Answer:	The 2 is the legacy Liquid sizing convention. -5+ is the sizing convention of the new gen Liquid of the same size as the legacy Liquid 2. I bet you ordered the vapor color. Vapor is the color available with the legacy Liquids as well as the new gen liquids. Now there's gunsmoke instead of black. The new gen and legacy reels are the same size, and spools from either will fit either frame. You can compare the dimensions on the Lamson website.

Question:	Do I dare to use it in saltwater
Answer:	I solely use it in fresh, but honesty for the price to quality I would have no problem using it in saltwater. It’s very easy to disassemble and the washers for drag can be replaced, so as long as you rinse it off and do a full breakdown once in a while I see no reason not. However if you think a reel needs no maintenance, then go blow 400 on a hatch and realize sand and salt gets in everything

Answer:	I have been using 50 yard backing line, plus 15 Yard shooting line #5. This real is small and is not meant for the pro user .. This Pflueger is handy and almost can be used single handed ! Unfortunatly I did have a poor example the spring broke after 2 weeks of use!

Answer:	Not really. I have not caught anything that required me fighting with the reel since buying it. I guess if the fish is strong enough to pull from a bent rod the equivalent strength of a person stripping line, to load the spring, then yes, there is a drag.

Question:	I received mine today and spent a while putting on backing and line, did anyone's spool move back and forth a bit and wiggle
Answer:	Wiggle? On the front side, by the winding handle, is a round thing. The sides of it are "textured" for a finger hold. Tighten it a bit, but, only FIRMLY (no pliers) and the "wiggle" should stop! The spool is probably loose!
Question:	Would this reel be usable with 12-20lb braid for salmon
Answer:	Yes, with the right weight real, itwould be fine.
Question:	Can you use in saltwater
Answer:	You can actually use just about any freshwater fly fishing reel if you take care of it during and after your fishing in salt-water. I live in Kentucky and get to fish the salt several times a year. Between days fishing in saltwater I submerge the entire reel (with line and backing in place) in a 5-gallon bucket of fresh water (changing the water daily). Then when I go back home I leave the reels in the bucket and cover it with the lid. When I get home I remove all the line and backing and wash them in warm soapy water, rinse them, let them dry while I disassemble and thoroughly clean the reels themselves. Yes ... I disassemble even the drag systems. You MUST remove all hint of salt residue (or it will eventually corrode whatever parts it is on). I lubricate them before reassembly and then wind the now completely dry backing and line ... before winding the line on I pull it through a rag soaked with Armor-All or STP Son of a Gun and buff it dry by pulling it through another soft cotton rag. Then I put a fresh leader on. My reel(s) are then ready to fish up home. Sounds like a lot of work, but it sure beats the H out of spending $600 - $1500 for a true salt-water reel.
Question:	Is the drag system waterproof? Like if I am wading, and place my rod and reel into the water, will the drag system be affected
Answer:	Yes, it is. We recommed you use fully sealed fly reel(like piscifun crest or platte fly reel) if you often use it in the water. Hope it helps!
