Question:	Do these resins work well for coating knots on hand tied leaders, or do I need to just get the Loon knotsense
Answer:	sorry to say I would never use a glue on a hand tied leader knot. I believe that is a marketing ploy. Yes these products will work as good as loons products but all UV glues take a long time to dry even in direct sun. I purchase these Solarez products to cover some thread wraps on self made braided loop connections. I was very happy with all the resins especially the flex resins. Hope this was helpful Larry W

Answer:	I don't know, but I'm sure you'll get a response from the Solarez people on it. These are 'super glue' sized tubes, but the product inside is a solar cure resin, not so much a glue. I don't know if they would work as glue, but the Solarez people will be able to tell you that also.
Question:	I want to add uv paint onto plastic goggles for underwater glow. Would this product work
Answer:	Let me try to understand better: you want to coat goggles (plastic or glass?) so that they glow in the dark or that they fluoresce? (glow in the day)? And the pigment you want to use will be dispersed in our UV resin? If that is the case, I'd use our Thin-Hard Fly Tie resin. If you want it to stick to glass, I could modify it so that it has better adhesion to glass

Question:	Where on Amazon do I find the needle
Answer:	I use the glue with a uvlight that somehow seals the glue better. I don't know if super glue alone would seal it. How would you hold the air bed until it dried?
Question:	what kind of batteries does the light use
Answer:	for this product to work you must have an absolutely clean surface, on all mating surfaces. if there is no gap for light, the light cannot cure the resin. If you have a sufficiently bright UV light, the product itself will act as a light guide. A UV light bright enough to do this, can cause damage to your eyes. So, the solution, is to notch what ever you are joining to allow a pin hole of light to propagate through the join. If all you have for light entry is a pin hole, you will need to allow minutes or hours for the light to fully cure the product. Bright sunlight and a magnifying glass can do wonders for UV light. So far. over a year along, the 4" crack in my van's bug deflector is showing no signs of failure. Flexes as if it had never been broken. So, in summary, for the glue to hold, you have to have an absolutely clean surface. True of most every other glue. For tiny cracks, a light source stronger than a single LED, or even a 3 battery light would be called for. The product will well on semi-opaque surfaces. Transparent surfaces will not require as bright or focused of a UV light. Most of the kits come with an optically safe UV light. A brighter light will require UV protecting lenses.
Question:	Will this work on metal or plastic for welding and how well will it bond to metal and plastic
Answer:	If the bottle is kept sealed and out of direct sunlight, it exceeds one year. I have some uv glue that is almost 2 years old and it is still good. However, i keep all uv glue in a small black plastic box when not in use. Exposure is a determining factor to uv shelf life.
Question:	Does it have color
Answer:	Not very well, any UV bonding agent (not glue like others keep saying) is dependent on a certain UV wavelength. This product comes with a 395nm light, (the lower the number, the stronger the UV is, but more difficult for the human eye to see) which surprised me, because when shopping for a good light, most sites stated that 365nm is more suitable for UV bonding agents, and works on most consumer brands. Bondic is great stuff when the light is brand new out of the package, but even if you replace the batteries in their little pen light, the bulb wears out very quickly. Plus I seriously doubt it's 365nm, I found a 365nm UV flash light on here for under $10 I bought, and it works great with several different brands of bonding agents.
