Answer:	There is a "D" ring sewn into the spine. You can attach a clip or strap that will attach to a luggage handle. You might want to consider a lanyard that you can have modified for the specific purpose of attaching it to a luggage handle.

Answer:	I keep an Anker 5 port usb charger in mine which is about 2 inches thick. According to the Corsair website, the dark core is about an inch and a half tall and 5 inches long. Answer:	Padding? Without tearing it apart, I can't tell for sure. If it does, it's thin. However! Because of all its pockets and compartments, there are layers on both the front and back that will protect most anything in it. Yes, I drop my iPhone a lot, but when I dropped it in this case, I was secure in that it was very well protected. And, it was.
