Answer:	The dexos specification applies to most, but not all, GM vehicles model year 2011 or later. (I) have a nissan, I do NOT use Dexos. I've no idea if Dexos is superior in MY vehicle but since it is NOT specified, I don't use it.

Answer:	I think this question is relative to what you think synthetic is. There are several things that make synthetic oils to say its 100%. I can always give me personal opinion but the only thing i can suggest to you is watch the utube videos of this product compaired to other 'expensive' engine oils on the market. The video of the test was indeed impressive and that is why i am a Royal Purple user. I use it a 2013 Ram 1500 5.7L 4wd that tows a travel trailer and i have notice an improvement in mpg's the past several months. I hope this helps!

Answer:	I use fram filters. In the vehicles that I need to be very reliable I use the expensive Walmart Fram Filters. In my around town vehicles I use the cheap fram filters. I have had no problem with any of them. You will enjoy the Royal Purple. Just make sure it shows up on the oil dip stick. My Ford F150 used 9 quarts the 1st time. Not the typical 6 quarts. Now it uses a little over 7 quarts.
