Answer:	No. Putters have their own type of shafts. Bending it will break the shaft.

Answer:	Nothing will change from a butt cut. Always cut the tips to the recommended length based on manufacturers specs and cut the butt of the club back to the players required length.

Answer:	Graphite normally will use a .525 ID extension

The only thing I do after that is use the grip tape, cut about 1/2 over top and tuck into the top of extension, put grip on and you are good to go. I've used extensions for years and have never had any problems doing it this way. Tape and grip will hold the extension securely.
