Answer:	As a retired person, I now usually only shave 3-4 times per week, so a Feather blade will last me about two weeks. I never take them out before replacing. After almost a year, the razor is still pristine. 316L is a very high grade of stainless steel.

Which one is the best really depends on which one is the best for you, depending on contour of your face, coarseness of facial hair, sensitive of skin, etc. I do like this razor and the ability to choose the aggressiveness of the angle (I use the #3) but the Rockwell blades were not great for me. I use the Astra Platinum, thin and dirt cheap, so new blade every shave.
