Answer:	I agree with comment from Nancy Kossman. That is more for cleaning the mat however. I did not use salt to break it in. It was a little slippery at first but after a couple uses it was fine. I didn't do anything special to break it in except use it.

Answer:	Mine was really slippery when I first got it. Did the salt thing and the vinegar thing. Customer service was very helpful. It's not as slippery now - just a teensy bit so. Friends who have these mats have had them for years and swear by them. So they probably get better gripping power the more you use them.

Answer:	The according to Manduka the pro series will not absorb any cleanser. It recommends 1:1 ratio of vinegar to water, which is what I use and works really well for me. I do not recommend using soap (even Dr. Bs) as you should probably rinse after. The manduka website states if you use a store bought cleaner you should thoroughly rinse after.

Answer:	No. I love this product! I used to use the removal cream by itself, as it was sold without prep and post product. It caused burning, left a red mark and didn't completely remove the hair. The trio is a huge improvement! No discomfort, no redness, hair is gone in one 5 minute application. I have only used it on my upper lip, around mouth, between eyebrows and on my chin area.
