Answer:	The strap adjusts to different size mats by the loops that go around the mats. The loops are made by the straps slipping through metal squares, so the strap is shorter when the rolled mat is larger. There is no way to adjust the strap otherwise.

Answer:	No it doesn’t open when placed on the ground/floor. You have to physically loosen the strap to remove the mat. Enjoy!

Question:	can this be carried with strap diagonally crossed
Answer:	The Yoga Mate -Yoga Towel, unlike some other yoga towels, does not use rubber grips on the bottom side of the towel because they are unnecessary for grip. The microfiber material is of the highest quality, so it does all of the absorbing. The "sticky studs" are more often than not a marketing gimmick and do not help yogis actually sustain their grip during their Bikram Yoga practice or other types of yoga / workouts. Answer:	It should. I have a Manduka EkoLite mat. Have about six extra inches from end to end. I pack a mat towel, change of clothes and toiletries
Question:	How heavy is this mat? I am looking to use it for camping
Answer:	It should. Mine holds my large (and heavy) rubber yoga mat with room for two blocks, my sweater, cap, water bottle. Its thick canvass material and made durably, I dont worry about it snapping the strap or coming apart. Hope that helps.
