Answer:	The belt is adjustable. I can’t measure how big or small it adjusts to since the led light stopped working so we threw it away.

Answer:	Sorry, it might have broken loose. Mine doesn't recede. It sits firmly under the rubber cover. I love mine as well. Maybe Sport2People will offer you a replacement. They seem like a really customer-focused company.

Answer:	Hm, not sure about dishwasher safe, I always handwash them, but there is no nasty plastic smell or taste. The water bottles are great quality.
