The important thing about support socks is the correct compression, you are better off for health and safety reason it is best to have a medical evaluation as which is the correct sock for you. I had a Dr. Prescription for my socks and since wearing them I have not had a blood clot for the past 8 years. (Well worth the Dr. Appointment)
