Answer:	Yes on the app. It also provides the fat burn % of calories. It also shows heart rate zones, and zones where you were working out to get fit vs burning fat.

Answer:	The monitor is continuous as long as you're wearing it. You'd need something to log the data - the app is setup for workouts but it might let you have a workout without a time limit. I don't know how comfortable it would be to wear 24/7 - especially when you were sleeping. In truth, a better option would likely be a heart rate enabled fitness monitor like a fit-bit (I've used both a charge 3 and a Alta-HR). I wear it 24/7 and it does exactly that. Good luck.

Answer:	I did. First with one L and later with 6 L. Both are reporting Normal EKG with multiple pre ventricular contractions abnormalities documented with another EKG taken in the Hospital and readed by a cardiologist. I returned the one L monitor and I still have the 6 L.

Answer:	To Narq: Sorry me bucko, but the three limb leads (leads I,II and III) of an ECG are achieved using three points of contact, plus the three augmented leads(Leads aVF, aVR and aVF -are calculated and require only three electrodes to derive these. Four limb electrodes are used in a standard ECG, but the right leg is only used as a reference (ground). Thus, six views, which for some reason, we decided to call “leads”, can be derived from three electrodes, which also are called “leads” (because that is common language for “wire”. So, one can use three, physically separate electrode contacts to give a 6 (six) lead (views) ECG. I am a critical nurse with many years experience in cardiac electrophysiology and many years in medical device industry as researcher and educator. I understand EXACTLY how they can rightfully make this claim. NB -don’t work for this manufacturer and have no relationship to the seller or developer. Perhaps your RN wife only read the description of the 1L version, as previously mentioned. I would politely suggest you retract your previous statement in response to the question, because it is based on your misunderstanding of the device. To Narq: Please read the above. Remember, a 12-lead ECG is derived from only 10 wires/electrodes and can certainly be derived from only 9 wires/electrodes using Wilson’s Central Terminal. See above for the rest of the explanation. Answer:	I have a forerunner 620 and using the HRM-Dual with that I get metrics including cadence, vertical oscillation, and ground contact time. I don't get those metrics if I'm not wearing the HRM-Dual when I run.

Answer:	The heart rate strap won't connect to a phone. It will only connect to a Garmin device, such as an Edge or a Forerunner.

How should I wear the H7 sensor?

Moisten the electrode areas of the strap with water, attach the connector to the strap and wrap the strap around your chest. The heart rate sensor should be worn flat against the skin with the Polar logo in the upright position.

How should I clean the H7 sensor?

Detach the connector from the strap after every use and rinse the strap under running water. Hang the strap to dry. When needed, hand wash the strap gently with a mild soap and water solution. Avoid moisturizing soaps. Do not soak, iron, dry clean or bleach the strap. Also, don’t stretch the strap or bend the electrode areas sharply.

How should I store my H7 sensor?

Store the heart rate sensor strap and the connector separately to maximize the battery lifetime. Keep the heart rate sensor in a cool, dry place. To prevent snap oxidation, do not store the heart rate sensor wet in non-breathable material. Also, don’t expose the heart rate sensor to direct sunlight for extended periods.

Question:	Does this product track calories burned
Answer:	This product is an HRM (Heart Rate Monitor), it measures the heart rate and transmits it to the device/app it is paired with. The device/app has more information about you (age, gender, weight, etc.) and your activity (walking, biking, etc.), the device/app then determines the data you need - kcals burned, avg. heart rate, max. heartrate, etc.IOW, the H7 has absolutely no idea of anything except the "pulse" rate. To be more specific, it is just measuring "pulses" per minute (probably every 10-15 seconds) - those "pulses" could be coming from a heart or something else.
Question:	Does it work well with iPhone
Answer:	I have the Iphone 6 and I cannot get my heart rate to be picked up? I have made sure it was positioned right, that it was wet like suggested and still I cannot get the polar beat app to recognize my heart rate. I can find it with bluetooth but it won't pick up my heart rate. I really don't want to have to return this so I am hoping someone can help me get it figured out.
Question:	Can i make it make a sound (or peep) when my heart rate reach specific rate
Answer:	The app on your smartphone will have to be setup to make a sound when a specific HR is reached. Several apps do this (typically in the interval setup function). The Polar H7 is just the monitor which relays the HR information to your smart phone, gym equipment, or HR watch. These units then determine what happens to the information. If you pair with a smartphone you should have no problems obtaining the functionality.
Question:	My chest measures 30 inches. The xs/s fits up to 30 inch chest, and the m/xxl fits 30 inches and above. Any suggestions as to which I should order
Answer:	It also depends on how tight you need to wear it. I wear the M/XXL at or near the smallest size, even though my chest is 34", because my breastbone is a bit concave and the sensor doesn't always pick up well unless it's flat. That's not the most comfortable (though it's not bad for a few hours), but it's the most effective for me. Mine may be a bit stretched out, though; I alternate between 2 straps, but I use them frequently and have owned each for at least a year, and I had probably a 37-38" chest when I first got them. That said, I'd personally go with the XS/S if I had a 30" chest - but if you're the kind of person who can get underwire to lie flat against your breastbone, you'll probably be fine with the larger strap.
