I'd recommend looking at a different brand like the jawbone (I think that's the name). A friend has it and has no problem getting it on or keeping it on. Bottom line, the fitbit flex wrist band is a terrible design. |

I love my Fitbit Flex although I've learned (1) it will count stuff like sweeping (or applauding!) as steps taken; and (2) I switch back and forth between Normal and Sensitive sleep modes to get a better sense of how I actually sleep. My main complaint is with the lack of Customer Care from the company itself. There are a fair number of devices that aren't supported by Fitbit, and several of mine are in that category. Fitbit seems to be marketing to the Apple crowd, rather than to serious PC users. |

Granted, only the two little posts that secure the band (not the tracker itself) have any metal that touches my skin, but usually that would be enough to set my wrist on fire. When I researched before buying, the only official word I could get from Fitbit said the clasp is surgical grade stainless steel, which by definition shouldn't have any nickel in/on it. |
