Answer:	I looked up the difference and would have said it's an oscillating plate. But I looked at a clip on YouTube and it does call it a vibrating plate. I love it! My daughter and I have had great success with it. I am doing a weight loss program with it and have lost 60 lbs. Answer:	I believe you can move the machine by yourself since it is only about 70 pounds. I am handicapped, use of right side only and pretty weak and imbalanced and I'm able to pull and push the machine around ;)

Specs do not mention the G force, but an independent study of machines in this price range asserts the g force of any vibrational platform exerciser in the $300 price range is likely less than 5 G's. The Frequency range mentioned under the electrical specs refers to the electrical motor cycles per second, or to be precise the voltage frequency range it can operate safely under, and has absolutely nothing to do with the vibrational rate of the platform you stand on. To get a machine with a platform that vibrates at 50-60 hz per second you must spend above $10,000. I am 100% sure that is NOT this machine.The effectiveness of a vibrational platform is dictated by how far the platform thrusts you (amplitude of the platform, in this case the amplitude is apparently between 0 and 10 milimeters PLUS the frequency of the vibration--how many times the platform thrusts you per second. You get different benefits from different amplitudes and frequencies. Lower frequency but higher amplitude (a "wide stance" when standing on the platform) positively affects your circulatory system and lymphatic system drainage. The G force at this combination is relatively low, but if you have low back or spinal problems you need to be careful, because the lower vertebra get a very "rocking" workout which could be painful (and not helpful) to someone with lower back problems, arthritis in the spine, etc. Standing with the feet close together on the vibration platform can lessen that problem, but would lessen the benefit form the machine, too.For muscle toning, weight loss, cellulite reduction benefits, you definitely DO need the higher G force. The higher G force is attained with the highest vibration settings. You cannot expect the same results with this machine that you would receive from a machine that delivers 15, 20, 25 or more G's. That said, for muscularly deconditioned people who are starting out, or people recovering from injury or surgery, you should still be able to expect some mild toning benefits from the highest settings on a machine like this. Again, anyone with spinal pain should avoid the wide-stance that rocks the spine the most vigorously.You are only going to be on this machine 10-20 min. a day, most people. It will have a negligible effect on biological vibration rates, probably a slight negative one at that, since all machines give off electromagnetic frequencies which are not made to be compatible with human biology. The benefit comes from muscle toning, relaxation from the vibration (like massage), improved blood and lymphatic circulation, which will greatly outweigh your brief exposure to the electromagnetic frequency of the motors.If your goal is to shape and sculpt muscle and really knock off fat . . . you need a much more powerful machine.

Question:	What are the advantages and disadvantages of curved vs. flat? I am concerned my feet will be in an unnatural position
Answer:	I initially found the curved design caused knee pain. I adjusted my stance and that resolved. After 8 weeks of use, I no longer get the knee pain. I love the many options available with the 4D. My only wish was a flat surface but I have no plans to trade in my 4D for any other model because I do love it.
Question:	What do you hold on to when you are standing on this plate
Answer:	We picked up a inexpensive portal clothes rack that can be easily adjusted for height. Less than 25 bucks on Amazon. We strap the remote to the top bar which makes it super easy to adjust what program you are on. Did not put the wheels on it. Works great and basically use it as a balance point as we both like to move around on the plate, facing the front and also right and left. You do not really need it but if sure make it more comfortable to have it as a balance point if you want to move around on the plate while it is running. Typically use in manual with all functions running at the same time and work up to top speed rather quickly. Just resting a finger on it helps with any fear of falling off it. Awsome machine.. love it.

Question:	What if someone needs something to hold onto, what do you recommend for 85yo with bad balance
Answer:	I'm not 85...yet; however I do have bad balance. I placed mine near the wall so I could lightly touch the wall until my body gets in sync with the machine. Then I could do the rest of the session with my arms by my side. I don't suggest using a chair as a chair can slide causing worse balance & a possible fall.

Answer:	I don’t have anxiety, however, I recently was finishing up school and testing that was extremely stressful. Using the vibration platform really aids in helping the body detox and removing unwanted build up of free radicals, toxins and poor quality energy. Using the pre programmed selection of P0 thru P2 or P3, (no higher) you can effectively do a lymphatic drainage. Position your body in either a plank (put down a towel for padding under your forearms) or in a push up (hands flat and towards the outer part of the platform. Make sure your body is in proper alignment for comfort as well and mechanics.) If you need to put your knees on the ground, this is fine, your focus is on your arms and upper body. Your lymph glands begin in your neck region, and then go throughout from there. This is a really effective detox!!! Work your way up to a full 10-15 minute cycle, and do it 1-2 times per day depending on your needs. The lymph drainage will help improve overall health and has the ability to reduce stress. Make sure you drink plenty of water to flush out the toxins you’re releasing. A rule of thumb is to drink half your body weight in ounces of water daily for proper hydration. Ex: if you weigh 150lbs you will drink 75oz of water per day. Just doing these two new protocols daily will help so much! You may not see overnight results, however, I would encourage you to stick with it daily for at least 2 weeks. I hope this helps, and you begin to see great improvement in your health!!!
