2 best treadmill for home
A treadmill for home is a popular piece of exercise equipment designed for indoor cardio training and fitness. These machines offer users the opportunity to walk, jog, or run in the comfort of their own homes, making them a convenient and effective way to improve cardiovascular health and stay in shape.
Here are some key features and considerations related to home treadmills:
Types of Treadmills:
- Manual Treadmills: These treadmills are powered solely by the user's movement. They are typically more compact and affordable but may require more effort to use compared to motorized models.
- Motorized Treadmills: These treadmills have an electric motor that powers the belt, allowing for adjustable speeds and inclines. They are more common for home use due to their convenience.
Space and Size:
- Home treadmills come in various sizes and designs. It's essential to consider the available space in your home and choose a treadmill that fits comfortably within that space.
Motor Power:
- Motorized treadmills have different motor power ratings. The higher the horsepower (HP), the smoother and quieter the operation will be. Choose a motor power that suits your exercise needs.
Speed and Incline:
- Look for treadmills with adjustable speed settings and incline options. This allows you to customize your workouts, increasing the intensity as needed.
Shock Absorption:
- Quality home treadmills often come with cushioned decks to reduce the impact on your joints during running or walking.
Console and Features:
- Treadmill consoles vary in terms of display screens, preset workout programs, heart rate monitoring, and connectivity options (e.g., Bluetooth, USB ports).
Weight Capacity:
- Check the treadmill's weight capacity to ensure it can support your body weight comfortably.
Folding vs. Non-Folding:
- Some treadmills are designed to be foldable, making them more space-efficient when not in use. This is a valuable feature for those with limited space.
Price Range:
- Treadmill prices can vary significantly. Consider your budget and find a treadmill that offers the features and quality you need within your price range.
Warranty and Customer Support:
- Look for treadmills with solid warranties and reliable customer support in case you encounter any issues.
Safety Features:
- Treadmills should have safety features like an emergency stop button and a safety key that clips to your clothing and stops the treadmill if you fall.
Maintenance:
- Regular maintenance, such as belt lubrication and cleaning, is essential to keep your treadmill in good working condition.
Remember that choosing the right home treadmill depends on your fitness goals, available space, and budget. It's advisable to try out different models in stores if possible or read user reviews to ensure you make an informed decision and select a treadmill that suits your specific needs.

User questions & answers
Question: | How deep is the treadmill in folded position? hoping to have room in an empty regular closet if i want to put it away |
Answer: | When folded the XTERRA Fitness TR150 is 29" deep x 29" wide x 61" tall. We hope it fits! Thank you for your question. |
Question: | What are the three levels of incline |
Answer: | I measured it using an android level app at 1 degree, 1.5 degrees and 2 degrees. I had been logging the 1-degree measure as no incline, so it's good that this question inspired me to check. |
Question: | How much assembly is required for this treadmill |
Answer: | The assembly consists of 5 basic steps:1. Remove all parts from carton.2. Slide frame upright tubes onto base, connect console wire.3. Attach 2 frame upright tubes to base with bolts provided.4. Connect wire to console.5. Attach console to frame upright tubes with bolts provided. It is relatively simple to put together, but we do suggest you have someone assist since the carton is heavy and so are a few of the main parts. If you have any other questions, then please don't hesitate to ask! Thank you for your interest in our XTERRA products. |
Question: | At 4 mph, for 15 minutes that should be 1 mile. But the console shows only .8 mile. How accurate is the console |
Answer: | Unfortunately it looks like the tracking of a mile is grossly inaccurate which is a bit disappointing. Running at 6.5 it took me almost 12 minutes to complete a mile as per the console. I know it takes time for the belt to speed up, but that is still way off IMO. The treadmill itself is great for the money. I will be exploring apps to help with proper mile count. Also the heart rate monitor is way off. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Trabaja si cancelo la subscripcion a Ifit |
Answer: | Push the iFit button for 30 seconds to skip the iFit registration process and start using the treadmill immediately. |
Question: | Trying to decide between this and the Horizon T-101. Anyone have any experience with both units |
Answer: | I am not sure about the Horizon but I purchased this treadmill in April and have had multiple issues. #1 I received it with a non working incline motor. I contacted their terrible customer service about this and they said because I got the warranty they would send out a repairman to replace it. It took 2 months and a few times of me contacting them through chat, email and phone and I finally randomly received a replacement motor in the mail. However, I ended up having to figure out how to replace the motor myself (which was super hard to do) because they didn't send out a repairman. Issue #2 One of the metal pieces that is connected to the lower platform that makes the treadmill incline busted off. I contacted the chat and the agent ended up putting in a request for a replacement treadmill for me. Well that was over a month ago and have still heard nothing back. I've called and emailed them multiple times and was not able to get ahold of them since. I tried the chat and the agent said it's taking longer because of Corona. Really? Over a month and not even an email updating me of the situation? I actually just tried calling today and was on hold for over 40 minutes and ended up just hanging up. I've had this treadmill since April and it's been one headache after the next. I even paid for the premium extended full from head to tippy toe warranty and they are treating me like garbage. Overall, this treadmill can be good but it is cheaply made and the customer service massively SUCKS, BAD. I might try the Horizon treadmill if I were you. Just my opinion though. Oh, and avoid the iFit. Not worth the price. You do get a free year of it though. |
Question: | Can you enter your weight |
Answer: | No. You can't enter your weight for customized settings. |
Question: | Approximately how many coats can I hang on this when I decide to never use it |
Answer: | Up to 300# of coats or other clothing. |
