Answer: | You can add/remove water to change the resistance, but obviously that's a huge pain. The answer I've read elsewhere is that the "right" way to change rowing intensity is to change your pace (just like you would in a real boat). I keep the water at the max level and just row faster for more intense, which has worked just fine. |

Answer: | The advertised max inseam is 38" not 49". The 38" also does not take into consideration that you will be wearing shoes when using the rower. Thicker soles will quickly shorten that inseam. Also, the foot rests pivot by 3-4 inches which will shorten the available inseam. I have a 36" inseam and find that I can only full extend my legs when I've removed the rubber stopper plate from the rail and restrict the foot rests from moving. However, you have to be careful not to strike the back support plate with the seat carriage wheels or you will crack or damage them. |

Elbows need to be near the body as if you had a grapefruit between your elbow and your side, with forearms and wrist parallel to the floor. This is the finish position phase of the row stroke.
The recovery sequence is Hands -> Hips -> Legs.
