Answer:	The newer dimmable model is great but the switch is very hard to operate. It is just a black rectangular thing with no moving parts and very faint markings. I just had to keep tapping here and there to make adjustments or turn on or off. I preferred the older model with an actual switch but it fell apart after 4 years. Still a great lamp for the price.
