And, I wanted to try this new snow pants yesterday and I am totally disappointed. I wore these pants on snowy day and all my clothes from theses pants to underwear got soaked wet after 2hr skiing lesson. I would not recommend these pants unless you want to get wet after playing in snow.

Answer:	They stay in place more or less. That is, they scootch up a little on the anterior side or the thigh; but, then, again, I cinch them up a little between my package/crotch area and top-medial thigh. They wear fine for my purpose, i.e. keeping all the stuff in place while I run/jog. The bummer is that after use, probably simple chemistry from sweat and body temperature, THEY SMELL LIKE AN INDUSTRIAL ACCIDENT IN WEST VIRGINIA. The super-bummer is that that noxious odor adheres to your skin (the whole girdle region). So, whether you want to smell like that or not for nookie is one thing; remaining fact is you'll stink if you sit down for coffee after having heated them up and sweat. These could not have been user-tested, just a template from the eighties using contemporary versions of Spandex and Polyester. Return 'em if they stink. Notice that the product description does not indicate the social pariah we become.

Answer:	These are not "real" if by real you mean Under Armour (for just a couple bucks more). These are just form fitting (as JohnAuston says). I can only assume the others have never worn "real" compression shorts. They are just form fitting. Worse, the thin elastic rolls (also unlike UA).

Answer:	Good question. Natural to ask. Compression shorts are design next to the skin. Resist urge to wear them inside-out, despite stitching. Subtly with UA is they should worn backside-front. Otherwise, static buildup would require aluminum foil, shiny side out. I don’t like the crinkly noise of foil, so I simply wear tag in front. Either way, UA is superb.
