Answer:	I don’t recommend this for workouts. It provides a lot of support and is pretty thick. I don’t think you would get the flexibility you need. It’s great for walking though.

Answer:	Hi LoveLoveLove!! Thanks for asking because many times the thigh measurement becomes the more critical one over the knee, especially in cases where there is such a significant difference. Our best recommendation is to order the XXL. The strap that goes around the thigh will be tight and it might be too tight for you, in which case, you can simply return it back to Amazon for a refund. The strap that goes around the actual knee might be a bit too long and you will simply need to attach it the other side of the opening - so the knee hole might be covered with neoprene which shouldn't be an issue. There is no problem if you order this and it just doesn't work as Amazon makes returns easy. Hope this helps!
Question:	How small will this adjust
Answer:	Thanks for asking. The determining factor for how small it can be adjusted is actually based on the middle strap - not the two outer straps. There has to be enough velcro to hold the middle strap in place and because of the shape of the middle strap, it can only be pulled so far thru the opening of the two outer straps before it bunches up. So with the most minimal acceptable amount of velcro holding the middle strap closed - and with no bunching - the circumference measured is 12 inches. Keep in mind, this would mean that some of the velcro (hook side) would actually be laying over the exposed knee hole. If no other person would be using the knee support, the extra velcro could be cut off so that it does not cover the knee hole. Also keep in mind that this measurement of 12 inches is not under tension. So if the knee in question is smaller than 12 inches, the knee brace will most likely slide down the leg. As always, if you make the purchase and the knee support doesn't meet your needs, you can simply return it. Hopefully I have explained this well.

Answer:	Our TechWare Pro Knee Brace is not specifically a J brace but it has been designed to provide help in stabilizing the patella. What sets our product apart is the bi-directional strap system that provides even support around the patella. With most knee supports all the straps come from one direction causing an uneven pull either to the right or left which is not conducive to stabilizing the patella. With ours we have two straps supporting one direction and another strap comes from the opposite direction. This makes for more uniform compression and tension around the patella and can make a difference in preventing further injury while also helping to minimize knee pain. Also if you compare prices to J braces, we are considerably less. It might be worth trying.

Answer:	Not thin like a compression tee shirt. Best guesstimate is the body is about 1/16” thick and a little thicker at the end seams were the gripping is. I live in Florida and an avid golfer and really like this particular band after trying several other brands. Don’t slip down, very comfortable and really keeps my knee caps from moving around during my swing.

Answer:	Yes you can use this it basically will wrap ice around the entire knee. I have this one because it runs a little bit small and I use it right below the knee around the calf. I use a different one to go around my knee because my knee is a little bit larger due to multiple surgeries and what I'm trying to recover from. so this one runs a little bit on the smaller side it's probably more designed for a woman but a small to average size man could use it very effectively as well. I've used it on my knee in the pinch but I prefer the one that's a little bit larger.

Answer:	I sent my order back. there were two support things on each side of the knee that pressed into a sensitive spot, and was very uncomfortable. Everyone is different = they are worth a try. You can always return them.

Answer:	The dark blue is where the padded disc is located. It comes as a handy "locator" when I slip it on my leg. The padded disc also makes for a comfortable kneel when I kneel on my yoga mat. I really haven't found anything about the sleeves that's a negative unless you get one too big, which I did and replaced two larger sizes. I settled and am pleased with the small size sleeves and I am 68" tall and 160#s weight.

Answer:	For "bone on bone" get the "unloader one" brace - works super. This brace is mostly for ligaments and helps a lot but won't solve the bone on bone.

Answer:	I own this brace and the 875. I purchased both in 2014. I use the 875 every week in Houston while playing tennis and the 872 is used about 1/2 the time on the other knee. I tried on many brands and the Shock Doctors felt like they gave me the best support but everybody's knee is different. I don't see any excessive wear on the 875 even though I have been using it 3 hours a week for 6 years in the high humidity and heat of Houston. I can push off as hard as possible and it does not slow me down. I would not call it comfortable but it is very comforting to know I can't hurt my knee.
Question:	Is there some way to select whether the brace is for the left or right knee
Answer:	There is no right or left for this brace.
Question:	I measured 2" below the center of the knee cap and got 14.25" to 14.5" . Would you recommend the L or XL
Answer:	Mine measured at 15.25, which I could have gone with the XXL instead of the XL. My only issue was when it was new, it was very difficult to put on, because it fit me really tight/snug and it doesn't help that my calf muscle is pretty well formed. I have had it for a few weeks now and it has stretched a little, but it is still snug, easier to pull up now. So, to kind of answer your question....I usually am an XL, so I went with XL. You are like me, you are in that in between size where you could go either way, I would just go with the way you think would better suite you. I like that fact that it's snug, I feel like the XXL would have become a little loose. Hope that helps.

Answer:	Slip on with top and bottom Velcro adjustments. Good brace with lightweight fabric behind the knee for comfort - no binding or squeeze.
