Answer:	Not sure, but wherever it is made, they need to come up with a better way of anchoring the rubber tubing inside the outer jacket better. I had mine for about 2 months and the rubber tubing on the inside came unattached from the brass fitting and shot off like a broken rubber band. I would not buy these again.

Question:	Is this for salt water and what’s the cost to add pinpoint GPS
Answer:	I think it would work for any diesel. I used it for my 2001 dodge. A Cummins rep told me it was the only additive they recommended. This happened after I got some bad fuel and wrecked my injector pump. I’ve been putting 12 oz in every tank for the last 100,000 miles. Engine is still running strong. I think with all these ultra low sulfur fuels now, any extra lubrication would be a benefit.

Answer:	It's 6 1/2" from the base (motor end) of the skeg to the prop hub, tapers to 6" at about 2" up the skeg as the skeg angles toward the prop.

Answer:	I would suggest going with a motor with alittle more power. The boat + the motor + occupants + gear comes to a very heavy load. I would look into going with a motor with more thrust. Minn Kota has a great motor builder sections where you can input all boat specs and motor specs that you are looking for and it will tell you which motor is best. You also have to consider what shaft length will be best. Depending on how high the distance is between bow and waterline will determine shaft length on all motors. This model motor may suit your needs 1355956 . But i suggest gathering all info and specs and doing the minn kota motor builder.

Answer:	You have to purchase whatever battery you want separately. There is no battery in the box.
Question:	Can I use the cigarette lighter port to recharge the battery? I use a cig lighter connected to a charge controller(connected to solar panel) on my other rechargeable battery that's not in a box
Answer:	You can, but slowly and carefully. It will take a long time because cig ports are usually rated to 10A max. If you supply more amps, you'll blow the fuse or burn the port. 80 AH battery (for example) is desirable to charge at ~20A, if it was deeply discharged.
Question:	What are the true inside dimensions of the box? (the listing says 14.9 x 8.7 x 15 inches" but doesn't specify outside or inside
Answer:	I just received my MinnKota Power Center (7-26-2016), I'm happy with it. The exact inside dimensions on the bottom where the battery will sit is 13 5/16" Long x 7 1/4" Wide x 8 7/8" Tall, add another 1 13/16" to that height measurement for clearance for your battery's terminals inside the lid. These inside dimensions flare up from the bottom giving you 13 7/8" Long x 7 3/4" Wide at the 8 7/8" point from the bottom. My Group 31 Vmaxtanks Vmaxslr125 AGM Deep Cycle 12v 125ah SLA battery sold on Amazon fits perfectly with 1/2" clearance at the bottom on length and width.
