Answer:	"Intrinsically Safe" is more about perspective. Any horn loud enough to be heard in a gym with players and people will be too loud to blow directly into someone's ear. If it is soft enough to blow directly into someone's ear, I doubt it will meet the definition of "air horn." So we'd have to say, "safe for what?" I wouldn't blow this horn in your house. I would on a boat to let someone know where you are. I would in a gym. But not closer than 10 feet directly in someone's direction.

Figured a good offense is the best defense. Wind was with me and I crept up pretty close then all of a sudden charged into them screaming and waving my arms. Scared the living heck out of them. They were falling butt over teakettle getting away. I would have liked to have the horn with me at the same time.

Answer:	Sounds like either the diaphragm is missing or punctuated. Pop the bottom off and put a piece of plastic wrap in there stretched across like a drum. You don't need to blow hard at all.

Answer:	There are 12 horns in the package. Very nice. Used for a parade. Comes with string so that you can wear around your around your neck. Wear for early morning walks for extra security.

Answer:	I bought these over a year and a half ag, but I believe there were about 10-12. Does the description not mention how many?

Answer:	Not sure, but mine were multiple colors.

Answer:	Blow into the small hole on the side. The large opening on the end is where the extremely loud sound comes out.
