Answer:	There is no heat. It's just a light. It blinks fast, blinks slow, stead on, and off with the same button.

Answer:	These are the colors needed on a boat. Red and green go in the boat bow...I believe green is right and red is left to signal other boaters in the dark, and the white goes on the back as stern lights.

Answer:	I think they should be approved. My first encounter with my local coast guard police went quite well (Southern Alabama, USA). They were gladed to see i mounted these lights as navigation lights, and said it was fine with the port and starboard lights. So make sure you install them correctly when use them for your boat navigation lights. Please note that the red color for port side and green color for starboard side of the boat.

Question:	Can these boat lights be trimmed or cut
Answer:	No they can't be cut, they will be not waterproof if you cut them. Put them on my bass boat and they work great, bright and a great replacement for incandescent garbage.
Question:	Are they flexable? Will they curve with my boat hull
Answer:	Yes, they are flexible. They should handle a reasonable curve, but wouldn’t try it around sharp corners I don’t know how long the 3M tape would hold on that. My biggest suggestion is to use marine silicone as the adhesive. I personally do not totally trust double sided tape.
Question:	How many can be linked on one switch
Answer:	Yes it can. Both bow and stern can be on one switch with zero problems

Answer:	The concave shape cradles around a approx 3/4 or less sz pole / bar and back band will hook on from one side to the other, they are a cool and trick light.
Question:	What is the lifespan of the battery
Answer:	I haven't used them since summer, but I'm guessing that they lasted 15 to 24 hours. I used them for multiple trips before needing to replace them, aside from 1 that died after the first night of about 4 to 5 hours. The replacement batteries that I put in lasted a lot longer than those that came in them. I used the replacements for the rest of the summer, a few hours a night, 4 or so nights a week, for a month or more before it got too cold.
Question:	Will these lights clip on an aluminum row boat
Answer:	If you have something to clip it to like a rail. They will also clip around something square. It has to be something it will go around or you can screw it to something. I bought it I case a light goes out or electrical troubles. They are bright

Answer:	What I did was use marine pop rivets and put Silicone around everything including covering the rivets before I put them in and after they broke off I put more in the hole. But as for using silicone to hold them I don't know I would be worried about them falling off

Question:	how many inches wide in diameter is the suction cup base when attached to the boat
Answer:	It's at least 3 inches before being attached and probably around 4 inches afterwards. Its a large suction cup and you'll need an equally sized flat area. I actually mounted mine to a sacrificial wooden block via screws and mounted that to my boat because I do not have any slick surfaces to use a suction cup anyway. Hope that helps.

Answer:	You probably never will need a bulb. It's an LED.
Question:	Where do you attach it on the bow of a dragon boat? I want to use this for our dragon boat Not sure the best place to suction it. Thank you
Answer:	Not sure. If it were me I'd incorporate it with the design of the dragon face. By law it has to be mounted in the front so your choices are limited. If it doesn't stick with the suction cup it can be unscrewed and you can install hardware to make it permanent. It can be reconfigured to be upright as well as the right angle position in the photo.
Question:	Is this light waterproof? Can you use it on a kayak and roll the kayak and the light will still work
Answer:	We use these lights in the rain all the time on dragon boats. We don't roll our dragon boats, so can't speak to that question, but will say that they last a couple of rainy seasons before the insides start to rust out a bit. They won't rust out quickly if opened and allowed to dry completely when a little water gets in. So, waterproof, yes, but to a point. (Just like anything else)

Answer:	Mine came with two, but the white in this style is really not sufficient for the legal requirement for a stern light on your boat. Technically the stern light must be visible for 360 degrees. For an inexpensive stern light I recommend a Dorcy Mini Lantern with two key rings zip-tied to it to allow it to be fastened to the boat. For a really good stern light, I recommend the Kayalite portable stern light. It has a pole that lifts it above the deck, but can be fastened to any boat with something to clip to on the stern.

Answer:	The red and green filters can clip on and off. Pressing the control button cycles through which LEDs are on and which are off. If the red and green filters are clipped on, there is a setting for just the LEDs under them, making the light a bow light. Do take care since the red and green filters are only held on by tension and seem like they can be lost easily. If you plan to use the light as bow light consistently, I recommend reinforcing them with clear tape. I use the this light as a stern light and left the red and green filters off completely, With new batteries, it is wonderfully bright as a white stern light.

Question:	How would they atttach to a jet ski
Answer:	I have a 2013 Yamaha VRX Waverunner with standard handlebars. Guessing it is similar to most Yamaha model handlebars. They clip around the ends of each handlebar and I can face them forward. Works great. Really bright. There is a handle on the rear of the seat that I can use for the white light in the back too. Marine police followed me for 1/4 mile one night and I could tell they really wanted to pull me over since most jet skiis out after dark aren't legally illuminated, but after checking me out for some time, they went on their merry way... and so did I.
