For the best results when gluing, the relative humidity should be less than 60% and ambient air temperature should be between 18C to 25C (65 F to 77F) and not in direct sunlight. Clean the patching area on the boat as well as the contact side of the patch, it is best to use M.E.K. (Methyl Ethel Ketone) patching solvent and cleaner.

WARNING:

Product Content Polyurethane. M.E.K. Harmful if inhaled; eye irritations. May cause sensitization if inhaled. Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness and cracking; Keep away from sources of ignition-No smoking; Don’t breathe vapor / spray. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of fresh water & seek medical attention. Use Only in well-ventilated areas. Don’t smoke or work near open flames, sparks or other heat sources.

STORAGE:

Glue and all chemical materials are dangerous goods. Keep out of Reach of Children. Store in a cool and safe spot and keep the product quality for up to 3 years.

• Mix 5% hardener (treatment) to the glue before use. Maximum add 10% hardener when in Cold Weather 10C-15C or High Humidity 50-75%. Do NOT exceed a mixture of 10% to the glue. M.E.K. is the thinner for PVC glue. If the glue hardens, you can add up to 10% MEK to the glue to reactivate the glue. Glue mixed with hardener can be kept for up to 6 hours.
• Use a small painting brush to apply 1-3 layer(s) glue on both material surfaces. Wait 5 minutes between applications to allow glue to dry and then attach the two pieces of material together. Once you have applied the patch, work from the center out with something like a teaspoon to force out any air bubbles and then apply pressure to the repaired area for at least 24 hours. Wait 48 hours for the glue to cure before using.
• PVC Glue can be used as one part. For a better result, please do 2 Part glue (glue and hardener) to ensure the overall quality of the repair and extend the life time of the bonding. For any repairs related to air leaks, please use 2 Part Glue. Glue and hardener sealed in the bottles can be kept up to 3 years
• Instruction of Glue Layer applied: 1-2 layers on new fabric surface; 2-3 layers on old fabric surface; 3-4 layers for wood or plywood surface; 2-3 layers for parts or aluminum surface. (The fabric of Hypalon boat, it must has a coating layer on the fabric, sanding the boat fabric to get rid of this coating is a must before gluing.)
• Only mix the amount of glue you require for the repair. Seal the bottle right away and store it in a cool area so that it may be used again. If the hardener turns to crystals or gets sticky, it is no longer usable. To clean the area that needs to be repaired, use Methyl Hydrate, Acetone or MEK.

Answer:	Not certain about the center console. The floor can be left in permanently and fixtures fastened to it. 40hp seems a little too much but I believe the users manual says that 40hp is the maximum outboard to install

Answer:	To answer this question for myself, yes we had cavitation and height problems with the 2004 Yamaha 4-stroke outboard(cavitation plate2.5 inches too high!) So flash forwards. This season we ended up adjusting the floorboards they wern't congruent, and putting more air in the keel(that's another subject of contention for us). So this season the 15-inch short shaft is actually performing much better with the Bris 15.4 boat adjustments. My next step would be to go with a new Honda or Suzuki 20HP outboard. Still on the fence about 15 inch or 20 inch shaft. To gamble, go with the 15"

To receive documentation, please fill out our Registration Doc request on our site or contact Newport Vessels after you have received your vessel. We will need your receipt, name, address and boat serial number to send your documents. Once received, we will ship it out the following business day.

1. How many people can it sit comfortably? - Max seating is 3. It comfortably sits about 2 persons.
2. What is Aluminum Framed Marine Plywood? - It's marine plywood that has aluminum around the border. This allows the pieces to connect to each other.
3. How should I store my dinghy? - Clean, dry, deflate, roll up and store in a climate controlled environment. If inflated, use a cover to protect it from UV rays and do your best to keep it out of direct sunlight, heat, humidity and extreme colds.
4. What should the middle Bow D-Ring be used for? - Not for towing! This is a grab handle that should be only used for lifting the boat, mooring or to tie the anchor onto. Improper use will damage the D-Ring. Use a bridle to tow your dinghy.
5. How do I know if my dinghy is fully inflated? - The supplied foot pump is designed NOT to over-inflate the boat. Pump until air is no longer being pushed into the chamber and all wrinkles are gone.

Question:	Is the motor mount sturdy enough to support both an outboard and trolling motor
Answer:	There is not enough room for both in our opinion.
Question:	How difficult is it to assemble/disassemble and will it fit in a car trunk when deflated
Answer:	It takes about 10 mins to assemble and 5 mins to disassemble. Yes, it fits in the trunk of a BMW. The boat bagged up is about 45"L x 23"W x 10"H. Very portable.
Question:	can the boat be used without the floor? what size motor does it accomodate
Answer:	I tried a 15hp and while the boat may be able to handle it structurally, I found it to be too much and hazardous to operate. I started with a 55 lb. electric which was fine for putting around a harbor. Then I had a 5hp that would only plane with 1 person; an 8hp didn't do much better. i now have an old 9.8 Nissan that is perfect for this boat!
