Answer:	BEWARE folks telling you what size hose to use. This pump comes in several different models that look identical but have different flow rates and outlet hose sizes. I used the wisdom of amazon comments and promptly bought 3/4" -- the wrong size hose. Garden hose is way too small. My pump wasn't labeled on the body of the pump and came without instructions. My outlet port was 1 and 1/8 inches in diameter, NOT 3/4". Measure yours, don't just check the Q&A then buy something. On another site, I found some specifications, and the pump model A02-111001 uses a hose with a interior diameter of 29mm. That's about 1 and 1/8 inches.

Answer:	I have installed electric pumps in all my kayaks and they work great. The issues are finding a waterproof switch that is easy to push with a spray skirt attached and the power source. I use lithium rechargeable battery in a waterproof case mounted in the day hatch and connected using Bulgin connectors. Be careful using automotive style switches and connectors. They say they are waterproof, but they aren't designed for submersion.

Answer:	I use it to pump out hole when I make irrigation repairs at my church. It will not suck up rocks and mud but it will handle very dirty water. It is important to pump some clean water through it after use in muddy water to flush it out. Good product I recommend.

Answer:	Not sure if it will fulfill your needs. I replaced a leaking pump in our camper and this pump did the trick. Lots of good pressure on demand. A garden hose may be too big of a diameter for good pressure. I'm sure you could find some sort of reducer to connect it and try it. For the price, it might be worth the risk.

Answer:	Yes, amperage is how fast the electricity moves, or draw. You can think of it like a river; the width x depth of the river is the voltage, the current (how fast the water moves) is the amperage, and the volume of water being displaced is the wattage, hence A x V = W. So long as your battery is 12 volts, the equiptment will run. Amps is calculated in hours, or how long the battery will last before being drained. 1 amp draw means in one hour 1 amp hour of the battery has been used. So a 10 amp pump running on a 10 amph hour battery will last 1 hour. So if you used a battery less than 17 amps, divide the size of the battery (amp hour) by the amperage the equiptment uses (17.5 A) to get how long your battery will last before being drained.

Answer:	Yes if you buy a converter that will convert 110v ac to 12v dc. I use one in my garage.
Question:	With 750 gph, the flow velocity would be insanely high out of the 3/4" outlet right? im calculating 540 feet per second. am i missing something
Answer:	You are probably correct
Question:	Is a check valve recommended? If so, how much does in restrict flow, and does it hurt the pump if flow restricted
Answer:	I did not use a check valve as my vertical lift is less the 2’. They do make valves with little restrictions if you need to

DC HOUSE F42 Series 12V DC

Our F42 series is designed as a sealed pure copper motor that makes the pump have low consumption and high performance. The four-chamber large-volume can achieve high flow up to 5.0GPM (18.9L/minute) . It retains the functions and features of its predecessors, increase the pump body length, a stronger motor, a larger water flow to meet your greater water demand.

Adjustable Pressure Switch

Open the lid on the top, tighten clockwise to increase pressure, unscrew counterclockwise to reduce the pressure. Turns on/off at 55 PSI.

*TIP: The pressure value of the pump has been set to standard 55PSI before leaving the factory, please rest assured to use.

Inlet Filter

The filter can be removed for cleaning.

*Tip: The diaphragm pump can only be used to pump clean water. If the liquid contains impurities, please install a filter at the inlet.

Hose Adaptors

The 1/2" hose adaptors for easy connection to inlet and outlet.
