Have netted 30+ inch redfish with it, tail hanging over obviously, but still able to manage it. I drilled a hole in the handle end and put a parachute cord loop to keep it secure as things tend to fall out of kayaks from time-to-time. Was kind of hard to thread through but worked out quite well.

Answer:	I believe they are NOT Coast Guard approved at this time. Our game wardens have not pushed the issue on our area lakes. They are very bright but not blinding to other boats. Very clear and easy to identify the port and starboard sides. I think they are much better than the old single bulb-two color fixtures from the past. I believe they will be accepted before long.

Answer:	No way! 2 months in the sun and it is shot! This cover is good only good for a dust cover in indoor storage. Look elsewhere for a cover. The seller will replace it one time so you can get six months of coverage out of the deal.

Answer:	Follow the instructions provided. Be sure and create a raised portion in the center to prevent water from pooling on the cover as it is really hard to remove. In my opinion this cover is not trailerable and mine lasted 8 months and I had to throw it away. I never Trailers mine but the direct sun ruined it.
