2 MOA Dot Reticle

The daylight bright red dot is easy to see and paints targets regardless of lighting conditions or background.

The key thing to remember when shooting with the Crossfire Red Dot is to keep both of your eyes open! Shooting with both eyes open allows you to take full advantage of your peripheral vision to get on target very quickly. Eye placement is not critical.

Windage and Elevation Adjustments

The Crossfire Red Dot incorporates elevation and windage dials with audible clicks. Each small click will move the point-of-impact one Minute of Angle. 1 MOA will closely correspond to one inch at 100 yards, 1/2 inch at 50 yards, 1/4 inch at 25 yards, etc.

Remove the turret cap and use the raised bar on the cover or a coin to turn the adjustment dial. Move the dials in the direction you wish the bullet’s point-of-impact to change. Turning the elevation turret counter-clockwise will raise the elevation. Turning the windage turret clockwise will move the point of impact to the left.

Mounting the Crossfire Red Dot

The Crossfire Red Dot can be mounted on a variety of platforms using the high mount or low mount.

• Attach the unit to the rail/base with the illumination dial positioned on the right side.
• Make sure the mount is solidly seated in the base groove. In order to prevent recoil injury, position the Red Dot so you have at least four inches of eye relief.
• Be sure the base clamp is hooked around the outside of the rail/base.
• Press the Red Dot downward and forward toward the muzzle. Then, firmly tighten the base clamp bolt using the hex wrench.

Answer:	Yes it does mount to an FNX-45 Tactical, I know because I did it! Just use 2 of the 5-40 mount screws that should have come with your FNX-45. No mount plate, mods or anything extra required. Just 2 screws with a little blue lock-tite. Works perfectly!

The SPARC Red Dot can be mounted at two heights, lower 1/3 co-witness and absolute co-witness. To mount it at lower 1/3, mount the sight as received. The optic center will be 40mm above the base surface. To mount for absolute co-witness you can remove the 3mm base shim. The optic center at absolute co-witness will be 37mm above the base surface. To change the mount height, loosen and remove the four base screws and remove the base clamp along with the 3mm shim. Reinstall the base clamp with the four shorter screws supplied with your Red Dot.

Answer:	Two have answered that basically it's a metal weight. I use it as a hat rack and others have used it as a purse rack. If you have young children around, it WILL tip over, so whatever you hang on it needs to be put equally around it, if the objects have more weight to them than hats. And it needs to be kept in a place where if it IS tipped over by someone, it will not damage anything in it's way. But it IS a "hat rack" and it is sturdy enough, even with that visually small-looking base, to do the job it's meant for.

Answer:	They are just regular turtle based legs. They will have a bit of resistance when collapsed or when moved into their respective spots. I always just grab the inside leg and the outside and pull them in separate directions. They all should also have a notch in which they lock in place once opened all the way.

Answer:	Yes. We run Alien Bees and/or White Lightning with a 47" octabox. You will need sand bags just to be safe. If your concern is the 47" box with a 4' arm, remember the 47" box is a diameter measurement, you will only need half that to clear the holding arm.

Red/Green Dot Reticle

The 4 MOA Red/Green Dot is ideal for situations that demand split-second target acquisition. Choose among ten variable illumination settings—the lowest two settings are night-vision compatible.

The key thing to remember when shooting with the StrikeFire II red dot is to keep both your eyes open! Shooting with both eyes open allows you to take full advantage of your peripheral vision to get on target very quickly. Eye placement is not critical. As long as you can see the dot, you’ll hit your target!

Windage and Elevation Adjustments

The StrikeFire II red dot incorporates elevation and windage dials with audible clicks. Each small click will move the point-of-impact 1/2 Minute of Angle (MOA). 1/2 MOA will correspond to 1/2 inch at 100 yards, 1/4 inch at 50 yards, 1/8 inch at 25 yards, etc.

Adjust the elevation and windage settings:

1. Remove the dial covers.

2. Use the raised bar on the dial cover, a coin or screw driver to make the adjustments.

3. Turn the adjustment dial in the appropriate direction as indicated by the arrow on the dial. Move the dial in the direction you wish the bullet’s point-of-impact to change.

Mounting the StrikeFire II

To get the best results from your StrikeFire II red dot, proper mounting is essential and, although not difficult, the correct steps must be followed. Your firearm will need to be equipped with a Picatinny or Weaver style rail/base.

To attach the included cantilever ring mount:

1. Attach the lower part of the cantilever ring mount to the rail/base and make sure this is solidly seated in the base groove. To prevent recoil injury, position the ring so that you have at least four inches of eye relief.

2. Be sure the base clamp is hooked around the outside of the rail/base. Press downward and forward toward the muzzle. Then, firmly tighten the base clamp hex nut.

3. Place the StrikeFire II on the lower part of the cantilever ring mount with the adjustment control buttons facing the shooter. Tighten ring cap screws evenly until all are snug—use caution so as not to over-tighten. Once the screws are tightened, the StrikeFire II should not move on the rail/base.

Answer:	I put it on my semi auto 12 ga and it worked fine. No adjustment even needed. Accurate at 70 yards. Did loosen up after 2 rounds but re-tightened it and had no further problem. Fired about 20 slug rounds after re-tightening. Good quik reaction red dot sight.

Answer:	The pouch is about 8 inches long. I just checked a butter knife and it was definitely too long to fit.
