Question:	Will it fit the sccy cpx
Answer:	Yes it works very well outside but you have to use the included "receiver" when outside. It picks up the laser beam and tells you when you are level. Beyond about 5' you can't see the laser on anything.I use it fairly frequently and it holds up well to the abuse it gets from me.
Question:	Can you use this to level a metal shaft
Answer:	Does not require rechargeable batteries. However, a comon error which addresses a number of complaints in the customer ratings is that the new/replacement batteries last far less time than the original (day/minutes vs week/month). The issue in my case was found to be operator error. When the unit needs replacement batteries, opening the access panel reveals two AA batteries, which are easily replaced while the unit is mounted on a tripod. However, there are actually four tandem stacked batteries, not just two. Therefore, only replacing two batteris rather than a whole set dramatically reduces the life of the replacement batteries. THE UNIT MUST BE REMOVED FROM THE TRIPOD IN ORDER TO REPLACE ALL FOUR BATTERIES. I felt like a dummy when realizing the error, but I have noticed that several of the low ratings reflect a very similar operation experience/frustration. Again, be sure to replace four batteries, not just two.
Question:	Are the Magnets on both or just one side
Answer:	Have not worked with it too much, but measure out about 150 feet. Just to check my ground level. I thought I read the range would be about 1/4" in 100 feet I think. I would check into it further if you can. Works very well.

Answer:	No it doesn’t work well outside. It’s hard to see in bright light inside

Answer:	The manual says two hours continues use . Haven't used it enough to really tell , batteries are real cheap for this unit . Highly recommend this unit .

Answer:	Yes, mine came with two batteries and the company offers batteries for life. I've only had to replace the battery recently after over four years of use.

Answer:	I put this on a heavy recoiling Sig Sauer 45. Had no problem with sight changing position. At one point after 50 rounds or so the sight stopped working. The little cover over the battery had come loose and fallen with the battery somewhere without me seeing it. When I got home I discovered the problem and CT sent me a new cover, no charge. Good product and great customer service.
