StrikeFire II Red/Green Dot Sight (SF-RG-501)
When situations demand split-second target acquisition and maximum field of view, mount up the StrikeFire II and shoot—both eyes open. Feature-rich, versatile and reliable, the StrikeFire II is a great choice for shooters who want a quality red dot sight. Features sleek rear-facing controls for power on/off and easy adjustment of ten dot intensity levels—lowest two settings are night-vision compatible. Automatically returns to the last dot intensity used when powered up. The 30mm aluminum alloy chassis provides extra-high recoil rating and is waterproof and fogproof. Strike fast!
The lower 1/3 co-witness cantilever mount model is ideal for rifle platforms, positioning the optic bore center 40 mm above the base surface.
Red/Green Dot Reticle
The 4 MOA Red/Green Dot is ideal for situations that demand split-second target acquisition. Choose among ten variable illumination settings—the lowest two settings are night-vision compatible.
The key thing to remember when shooting with the StrikeFire II red dot is to keep both your eyes open! Shooting with both eyes open allows you to take full advantage of your peripheral vision to get on target very quickly. Eye placement is not critical. As long as you can see the dot, you’ll hit your target!
Windage and Elevation Adjustments
The StrikeFire II red dot incorporates elevation and windage dials with audible clicks. Each small click will move the point-of-impact 1/2 Minute of Angle (MOA). 1/2 MOA will correspond to 1/2 inch at 100 yards, 1/4 inch at 50 yards, 1/8 inch at 25 yards, etc.
Adjust the elevation and windage settings:
1. Remove the dial covers.
2. Use the raised bar on the dial cover, a coin or screw driver to make the adjustments.
3. Turn the adjustment dial in the appropriate direction as indicated by the arrow on the dial. Move the dial in the direction you wish the bullet’s point-of-impact to change.
Mounting the StrikeFire II
To get the best results from your StrikeFire II red dot, proper mounting is essential and, although not difficult, the correct steps must be followed. Your firearm will need to be equipped with a Picatinny or Weaver style rail/base.
To attach the included cantilever ring mount:
1. Attach the lower part of the cantilever ring mount to the rail/base and make sure this is solidly seated in the base groove. To prevent recoil injury, position the ring so that you have at least four inches of eye relief.
2. Be sure the base clamp is hooked around the outside of the rail/base. Press downward and forward toward the muzzle. Then, firmly tighten the base clamp hex nut.
3. Place the StrikeFire II on the lower part of the cantilever ring mount with the adjustment control buttons facing the shooter. Tighten ring cap screws evenly until all are snug—use caution so as not to over-tighten. Once the screws are tightened, the StrikeFire II should not move on the rail/base.
- The 2-7x32 Crossfire II riflescope is one of many configurations in the Crossfire II line. The Dead-Hold BDC reticle is good for hunting/shooting at varying ranges where estimating holdover is a concern
- With long eye relief and an ultra-forgiving eye box, you'll be able to quickly get a sight picture and acquire your target. The fast focus eyepiece allows quick and easy reticle focusing
- Anti-reflective, fully multi-coated lenses provide bright and clear views for the user; Max Elevation Adjustment: 60 MOA
- Capped reset turrets are finger adjustable with MOA clicks that can be reset to zero after sighting in
- A single piece tube constructed from aircraft grade aluminum ensures strength and shockproof performance. O-ring sealed and nitrogen purged, the Crossfire II delivers waterproof and fogproof performance
User questions & answers
Question: | Will low height rings fit this scope & a remington |
Answer: | Yes this will fit with a low height rings on a Remington 700! I have one mounted on a Remington 700 bdl |
Question: | Is it good in dark areas |
Answer: | Me owning both a 44mm and a 50mm I’d say if you want one for lower light go 50mm. I’ve heard that it doesn’t matter but like I said i have both.. the 50mm you can see earlier in the morning and later into the night.. only down side is if your facing a sun rise or a sun down the 50mm absorbs to much light causing a glare.. you can buy a screw in extender that takes care of that tho.. hope That helped |
Question: | will this scope hold up to the pounding of the AK47 recoil |
Answer: | This is an amazing scope. Like the others have said handling a 416 rigby and a 338 win mag itll hold up to the 7.62x39 for sure. I know ur thinking probably about the continual jarring of a semi automatic but this scope holds up just fine. Best thing is u cant go wrong with vortexes warranty. I have two a 2-7x32 on my 375 HH, and a 3-9x40 on my .30.06, and only had one issue on the 3-9x40 from a shooting trip after i got it home i guess it got knocked around too hard and there was like dirt inside of the glass. I called vortex they sent me a sgipping label and said well fix it ir replace it and in a week or two i got my scope back good as new. I love vortex the scopes are great, and the customer service cant be beat. |
Question: | Does this scope come with flip up scope covers? If not, any recommendations |
Answer: | The scope does not come with flip up scope covers. I purchased Butler Creek ones and they work great. For the eye piece go with size 14-15-16 (their sizing is weird) and for the objective go with 13-15. They work great and I have no complaints. |

Diamondback 2-7x35 Rimfire V-Plex (MOA) Riflescope (DBK-RIM)
This classic go-to hunting scope is off the charts when it comes to image quality, build quality and overall feel of the turrets and the fast-focus eyepiece. If you're in the market for a high-quality riflescope, look no further than the Diamondback - a quality riflescope that offers a variety of configurations.
V-Plex MOA Reticle
- A popular all-purpose hunting reticle intended for a wide variety of hunting applications.
- Second focal plane (SFP) reticles are located near the scope’s eyepiece behind the image erecting and magnifying lenses. This style of reticle does not visually change in size when you change the magnification. The advantage of an SFP reticle is that it always maintains the same appearance.
- The Diamondback 1. 75-5x32 riflescope is one of the multiple configurations in the Diamondback lineup and is ideal for big game, slug shotgun, and brush hunting applications
- Dead-Hold BDC reticle is good for any hunting or shooting at varying ranges where estimating hold-over would be a concern.

User questions & answers
Question: | Is this scope brand new in box not a refurbished with full warranty |
Answer: | That depends on where you run your cheekweld, if it's nose-to-charging-handle then you need the extended mount. If it's farther back from the charging handle then you need to standard mount. |
Question: | Does it come with sunshade |
Answer: | The PA 4-14x44mm w/ ACSS HUD DMR .223/.308 reticle should work just fine on a 30-06 Remington 700. The 30-06 and .308 rounds are very close ballistically speaking so you would be close on the reticle. We recommend using a ballistic calculator like the Strelok app to create a cheat sheet for the reticle for your specific loads. |
Question: | What height rings do you need - medium or high |
Answer: | The eyepiece on our 4-14x44FFP optics will accept covers 43.9mm in size. |
Question: | I ordered medium rings..will they work with this optic |
Answer: | This scope is primarily for .308 Win or 7.62X51 caliber rifle or a 5.56X45 shooting 75 or 77 grain boat tail ammo. The 6.5 Creedmoor has a flatter trajectory, similar to a .300 Mag |
- These Vortex Hunter Rings position the center of the riflescope tube at a height of 0.87 inches (22.0 mm) from the base.
- Mounting to a Picatinny or Weaver type rail, the standard, 2-screw Hunter rings are a nice match for general hunting setups.
- Made from aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum for optimum strength.
- Sold two rings per package.
- Base Clamp Screws:25-30 in/lbs
User questions & answers
Question: | Will these work on the AR15 rifle, if so what height is recommended |
Answer: | Yes, these mounting rings work perfectly on an AR15. I have them mounted on my AR15 and they are 1.5" high from the mounting grooves to the center of the scope rings. However, they are not compatible with the standard AR15 iron sights or the standard 'Carry Handle' upper receiver of a stock AR15. In order to use these rings, the AR15 must have a 'Flat Top' upper receiver. However, you don't have to give up iron sights in order to mount a scope. There are various 'Back-Up' iron sights (BUIS) available that can be mounted on the side of the upper rail and used in case the scope gets damaged or out of alignment. There are photos on the internet that will illustrate the above setup. Hope this helps! |
Question: | will these fit 20mm picatinny rail |
Answer: | Yes. Should fit fine. |
Question: | Will these rings work in picattini bases? What brand you recommend |
Answer: | These rings will work w/any Weaver style bases to include picitiny Bases. Jon |
Question: | Will these sit high enough for a crossfire II 50mm scope |
Answer: | These Vortex Hunter Rings (Medium) position the center of the riflescope tube at a height of 0.87 inches (22.0 mm) from the base.http://www.vortexoptics.com/product/vortex-hunting-1-inch-rings-mediumThe front "bell" of most of the 50mm Crossfire II scopes that use 1" rings is either 2.44" wide (4-12x50) or 2.24" wide (3-9x50) so whichever one you are talking about, cut that number in half (1.22 or 1.12). Then if you put a straight edge on your scope bases, measure up 0.87 inches (center height of the MEDIUM rings). If that is at least 1.22 or 1.12 off the barrel (depending on which 50mm Crossfire II you are looking at) the MEDIUM rings will work. If not you will need the HIGH rings (position the center of the riflescope tube at a height of 1.22 inches (31.0 mm) from the base) will be needed. |

User questions & answers
Question: | what do these fit a 1 inch tube or 30mm tube, your information is misleading in the listing, the number cross ref to leapers 1 inch tube |
Answer: | It's 50mm. |
Question: | Is this mount for a 1" tube |
Answer: | I cant be 100% sure but i believe it will cause you can slide back and forth quit a bit, plus i guess if you had to ,you could turn it around. All my ar's have scopes and havnt had a issue yet, only issue is i had to get a charge handle extension. Hope this helps. |
Question: | Any ironsight recommendation to use with this scope mount? They would need to be low enough to view through the base of the scope mount |
Answer: | It never said on the package that I recall. My guess would be 6061 but I really don't know. |
Question: | Will this work with a 50mm scope on an AR |
Answer: | I'm not sure I have not turned one around but I don't see why it wouldn't work |

User questions & answers
Question: | Will this hold up to a 300wsm |
Answer: | 1-inch rings will work best. Probably best to go with medium-height rings, since the scope sits quite low |
Question: | Can anyone suggest a good rifle scope quick flip spring up lens cover cap |
Answer: | I have not added one on there yet but I have butler creeks on my other scopes |
Question: | Does it work well in bright daylight? Because some people have told me it is unusable during the day, but others have said it works great |
Answer: | Why would you consider putting a $70 scope on a belted magnum? The saying "you get what you pay for" rings true when it comes to optics. This is a VERY good piece of glass for the money, I own 3 of them. But putting it on a belted magnum is just silly. Spend your money once and buy a Leupold. |
Question: | Will thos work with 7.62x |
Answer: | My grand-daughter is very pleased with her scope. My son who is a Marine says it is very good. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Is the Ballistic Calculator dependent on wifi source such as a phone or tablet |
Answer: | I think Fakespot may be a little pessimistic, BUT... if you filter by Verified Purchaser you get a different sense of things. (meaning Amazon knows they purchased it... YES, you can review something on Amazon WITHOUT purchasing it). With the filter on there are 480 4/5 star reviews vs. 110 1/2 reviews. Without the filter it's 870 4/5 reviews vs 130 1/2 reviews. Hmm... Awful lot of unverified positive reviews... |
Question: | Why does it say that fakespot says that only 13.8% of these reviews for the scope are real |
Answer: | Does not come with batteries. ***Important note*** .....do not buy CR123 substitutes. They typically put out 3.7 volts instead of the 3V using the 123s. I used a substitute and it fried my light. |
Question: | Do batteries come with the iluminator |
Answer: | Yes, The ATN X-Site 4K Pro does include an IR Illuminator. However, if you want good night vision past 45 yards, purchase an aftermarket IR Illuminator. For the $$, this scope has a lot of features and the battery life is excellent. |
Question: | Is it safe to assume the IR is included since it is a day/night scope |
Answer: | The honeycomb filter prevents sunlight from reflecting off of the objective lens back toward the target. When hunting, glare from the lens can flash in certain lighting conditions/angles and spook the animal. |
