Answer:	I have washed the lid and straw in the dishwasher multiple times (top rack) without issue. I can't speak to the water bottle itself because I have stickers on it so I wash that part by hand.

Question:	Is it leak proof
Answer:	Mine has leaked yes. It will leak slightly with the mouth/straw attachment on when held upside down. It will also leak if you undergo a pressure change. I was on an airplane flight and it leaked quite badly. I remedied this by flipping the straw to the open position so the pressure differential didn't cause an issue during flight. Overall I love this bottle I would recommend it over any other option!

Answer:	My experience has been several hours to maintain “hot” liquid. 12 hours is asking a lot of this product considering the bottle has somewhat limited vacuum insulation for high performance temperature retention. I would say 6 hours is reasonable depending on what your definition of “hot” after 6 hours is.

Question:	Can you freeze water in this
Answer:	Freezing water in any bottle, even metal, can burst the bottle as the ice expands. Recommend filling with water and putting the entire bottle in the fridge overnight. Too off with ice cubes in the morning.
Question:	The insulated spout lid is missing the seal. can i order the seal separately? and if so where? thank you
Answer:	Replacement O-Rings are available on the TakeyaUSA website.
Question:	What sizes fit in cupholders
Answer:	The 32oz did NOT fit in my 2015 Tundra.. Nor my cars.. Ordering the 24oz
Question:	What is the difference between the actives and the originals
Answer:	the actives have pretty colors...the originals were plain...same construction...well, the actives might have an additional plastic cap on the bottom but i like the plain simplicity of the stainless....good luck!!

Answer:	It depends on the car. It fits in the ones in my minivan but not my husband's car. It fits the suburban and one of the company cars at work but not the others. That being said, if you put the lid on tight, it doesn't matter, because you can lay it anywhere. Hands down the best water bottle I've ever owned.
