1.- Wash flask with soap and water, rinse thoroughly, inflate flask with a puff of air, turn upside down with cap off, and let dry.

Answer:	It's seed and sod lawn FOOD. So no, it's not seed. It's an organic fertilizer.

Answer:	I recommend following the instructions on the bag (12 lbs of product per 1,000 square feet). From my research, you should treat new sod like new seed, putting it down early spring or fall and water frequently to allow the roots to grow into the new soil. Also I have heard sod does not due well in shaded areas since it is grown in the sun on a sod farm, the grass tends to be sun loving varieties. Sod in shade will eventually thin out and die so you might want to try a dense shade variety in those locations. Thanks.
