Answer:	i dont see why you wouldnt be able to but this box is tuned for this subwoofer, so throwing another sub in the box would change things. plus u would have to prolly drill new holes in box to mount amp and by that time the box would start looking beat up. this is a standard wood box with a vinyl overlay wrapped on it with hard plastics sides. id keep it the way it is. when it comes time to change equipment start over with new box

Answer:	The fact that the base GT did not come with a sub is the main difference, if you already have a sub in your car you are looking at the wrong product. This product is for cars with the base radio.
