Answer:	The acrylic backboard of the 1269 is a more rigid material than the plastic backboard of the 1221. Acrylic's stiffness produces better bank shots, rebounds and holds up better than the plastic backboard. Which is why the 1269 usually costs a bit more than the 1221. Hope this helps!

Answer:	Wish you had read my previous response. The paint around that area needs to be sanded down some on the bottom pole to adequately slide the poles together. The system will still be very sturdy where you slammed it down, just know the measurement for the height adjuster will be an inch or two off. Otherwise try to spray some WD40 in the cracks to slide it down more. You should be fine.

Break-Away Rim

Also included with the SB54 is a break-away rim. This spring activated rim flexes under pressure, similar to professional-style rims. Tempered Glass Backboard

Just like professional style glass backboards, the SB54 (54 x 33 inches backboard) features a 5/16 inch thick tempered glass backboard with aluminum frame. Because these goals are anchored in the ground, they can support the weight of a glass backboard which provides the truest rebound of all backboard materials. This glass is treated through the tempering process to make it incredibly durable and safe in the event of shattering.

Powder Coating

Rugged steel is used throughout the SB54 and provides uncompromising strength. 4 x 4 Inch Steel Pole

These goals feature a 4 x 4 Inch 2-piece steel pole. The steel in this pole supports the weight of the tempered glass backboard, and significantly contributes to the strength of the system. As a result, the Silverback SB54 has significantly less vibration than portable systems.

2.5 Feet Overhang

The SB54 also features 2.5 feet of overhang from the pole to the backboard, allowing for play underneath the hoop. Having some overhang is an important safety feature as it allows players to go in for layups and guard underneath the hoop without running into the main pole.

Answer:	I'm not sure, but ours has been solid for well over a year now with tons of use by my five sons and their friends. It is relatively lightweight, and if installed correctly into studs in the wall it will be very solid.
Question:	Can it be mounted outside on a wall or garage ? and is it really mini ? or is there a large version
Answer:	RAMgoal was originally designed to replace the low quality door mounted hoops my son kept breaking, so the 9" diameter rim is similar in size to a door hung hoop. Hanging RAMgoal in the garage is an excellent idea.
Question:	what is the dimensions of the rim? Can you use a regulation size basketball
Answer:	Mary, the rim size is 9" in diameter, so it does not use regulation basketball. This is made for younger kids who need a smaller ball. There is an option to purchase a ball when you buy the goal. Having witnessed this goal in action personally, I would highly recommend it! Very durable and kids love it. Hope that helps!

Answer:	I have seen people screw the goal to a solid door. And yes the goal has to be screwed into studs or a solid surface.

Question:	What is the spacing for the bracket, 7” x 7” on square? I have the brackets in concrete from an old hoop, will this fit the existing screws
Answer:	Our anchor system that connects the hoop to the concrete as a 10" x 10" pattern. Unfortunately, we do not have a way to convert the 7" x 7" to a 10" x 10" pattern. If you wanted to use our basketball goal, you would have to cut the concrete and replace the screws, or simply but the hoop in another spot on your court.
Question:	How does this bolt to the ground? Do I need to install it before the court is poured
Answer:	The hoop is installed through this process: A 2' L x 2' W x 3' H hole is dug, filled with concrete, then using our "bolt kit" a base plate is laid on top of the concrete. Once the concrete has set the hoop is then bolted to the base plate and is anchored into the concrete.
Question:	Just out of curiosity, can you mount different rims, such as a Gared which has a hole pattern of

Question:	It would have to be secured with cement. How is this hoop pole fixated normally? By driving into the dirt? and then cement
Answer:	The pole is installed by first digging a 2 ft x 2 ft hole that goes 3 ft down. After which, the concrete is laid and should fill half of the hole, 4 rebars are then placed and the hole should be filled a little bit more. After, the J-Bars are installed using the bolt plate as a guide for placement of the J-Bolts. The process is finished by filling the rest of the hole with the concrete.
