Answer:	Mine came with 4 J bolts that you embed in the concrete footing. When the footing is cured, you can use the included nuts to attach the base of the post to the ends of the bolts that are sticking out of the footing. The vertical bolts are arranged in a square pattern to match up with the notches on the horizontal base of the post.The backboard and post are heavy when assembled, so plan on needing a few guys to move it. You'd need to buy another set of four bolts for the new house if you were to move it and have them spaced properly to hold down the base of the post.

I'm not sure what you call far away, but because its very small size, I couldn't quite see it from my bathroom on the nightstand, which was no problem because I have a wall clock in the bathroom. Answer:	I did a lot of research and read numerous customer reviews on portable hoops before I decided to purchase Lifetime's Model #71566. The main complaint I seemed to note in various reviews regarding the the 71566 was that there was missing hardware and like many other customers, my hoop was also did not have all of the hardware necessary for assembly. However, I contacted customer service who were quite friendly and they promptly sent me the missing hardware I needed to complete assembly of the hoop. Otherwise, I am extremely happy with the purchase and would recommend the product to others which is something I would not do if I were the least bit satisfied. The 71566 was easy to assemble and is a quality item. In addition, if you do a google search you can find the item on sale with many vendors and I believe I was able to purchase the hoop with free shipping for under $300.00.

Answer:	We used these hoops for our summer basketball camp. There is a recommendation for 300-400 lbs. of sand to be put in the base, for stability. We put 200 lbs. of sand in the base and then placed 150lbs. of sand bags on the top of the base. This way the bags can be removed for relocating the basket, and one (at most two) people will be able to tilt and roll the unit to another location. We actually loaded the units on to a trailer and moved them to our storage garage (about one block away).

In the beginning, all the founder of Lifetime Products wanted was a sturdier basketball pole for his backyard.
