Answer:	The acrylic backboard of the 1269 is a more rigid material than the plastic backboard of the 1221. Acrylic's stiffness produces better bank shots, rebounds and holds up better than the plastic backboard. Which is why the 1269 usually costs a bit more than the 1221. Hope this helps!

Answer:	Mine came with 4 J bolts that you embed in the concrete footing. When the footing is cured, you can use the included nuts to attach the base of the post to the ends of the bolts that are sticking out of the footing. The vertical bolts are arranged in a square pattern to match up with the notches on the horizontal base of the post.The backboard and post are heavy when assembled, so plan on needing a few guys to move it. You'd need to buy another set of four bolts for the new house if you were to move it and have them spaced properly to hold down the base of the post.

Finally, someone from Amazon calls me and says that they are taking this company off the list for providing installs! He recommended that I cancel this order and pick another installer and he provided a link to another installer and said it was cheaper! The new link listed a company that wanted to charge me $358! This is not cheaper! in fact, it was $158 more! I sent a text to Amazon about this over 10 days ago. I told them I felt like I was taken advantage of! Amazon never even bothered to reply to my e-mail! I spend thousands on Amazon and they really screwed me on this purchase! A classic bait and switch! Don't do it man! Stay away from them. Henry

With the rim at 7’and 6” (lowest) that would put the lowest hardware behind the backboard at approximately 7’ and 1-1/2”. With the rim at 10’ (highest) it would put the lowest hardware behind the backboard at 9’ and 7-1/2”.

Answer:	Not easy, but not hard. You'd think they would have a drain on the bottom (the piece is called "ballast"). So you need to tip it on the side or forward. They have a kickstand to make it easier. With a helper, it shouldn't be difficult. But honestly, none of these nets are truly meant to be moved around a lot, or drained with ease, that I saw. They're all going to need to be weighed down somehow. If quick drainage is your biggest concern, you should look at other hoops. Maybe there's one that has a bottom drain.

Answer:	If you are asking: Is the top of the hoop 10 feet (305 cm) above the ground? - it is adjustable so it can be: answer is “yes”. Is the backboard regulation size? Regulation backboards are 72 inches (183 cm) wide by 42 inches (110 cm) tall. This backboard is 60 inches (152.4 cm) wide: answer is “no”. Is the rim professional size? All basketball rims (hoops) are 18 inches (46 cm) in diameter: answer is yes. Is this a commercial heavyweight basketball system that LeBron James and James Harden would use for a pick-up game? Answer is “no”. They woul snap it like a Slim Jim in a second. Is it good enough for regular people? Answer is “yes” it is one of the better portable basketball systems -which are in general made for light duty moderate use.
Question:	How does the backboard hold up during north east winters? Do I need to bring indoors
Answer:	I live in Maryland and have had this hoop for almost 3 years. It still looks great with no signs of rust.

Answer:	One VERY large, heavy box. I'm not sure of the dimensions as I no longer have the box. It was delivered on a pallet, and the delivery guy set it inside our garage.
Question:	What are the dimensions of the base? I'd like to place this between the sidewalk and street
Answer:	The base is roughly rectangular, approx 32 in wide and 50 in deep. There is also a ground anchor that screws into the ground and attaches to the rear of the base by a rope that extends the depth another ~16 inches. Hope this helps!

Question:	Pole only went in the ground 10 inches. I know it says 14-16 inches. That’s how the concrete cures. Will this create an issue
Answer:	The extra 4-6 inches would help but ten inches should be good. As long as you also fill the center with concrete to make it sturdy
Question:	If I toss the sleeve, given all the concerns it may cause, how deep does pole go in concrete
Answer:	I would go just a couple of inches deeper than the sleeve is long. Any deeper and you run the risk of not having the rim go all the way to 10 feet high. Putting it in the sleeve gives the whole thing more play when you're shooting which is not a good thing. They really should make the bottom post longer so you can sink it deeper for better stability. Question:	How far below ground level should the bottom half of the pole be sunk
Answer:	The ground sleeve is 16" in length, 14" of it will be in the concrete. Thus, 14" of the pole.
Question:	What is the actual material and thickness of the backboard? I've seen
Answer:	The glass itself is about 1/4 of an in, and the framing, metal included is about an inch or a little more than an inch thick. Hope this helps you.
