Answer:	Polycarbonate will crack and break within 3 to 5 years due to UV. I researched the internet and from my personal experience this is what happened to mine. As I'm writing this feedback to counter the misinformation from the first feedback, I am getting an acrylic backboard to replace my existing portable, which will last me 15-20 years. Answer:	The mounting bracket is 6 7/8" wide, 18 3/4" tall.

Answer:	the horizontal distance is about 28" at the highest and lowest jack setting..
Question:	How high should I mount it so that the max height is 10 feet
Answer:	The distance between the bottom of the mounting bracket and the rim at max extension is 32.5". If you want the hoop at 10' at max extension, you'll want the bottom of the bracket to be 7'3.5" off the level surface (ground). I'd recommend mounting it slightly higher so your top height can be slightly over 10" in case you're a little off. Better to have it slightly too high and then adjust it down slightly to make it 10'. Also don't mount the height sticker on the adjuster until after you've set the height and can confirm it's correct.

Answer:	The extra 4-6 inches would help but ten inches should be good. As long as you also fill the center with concrete to make it sturdy

Answer:	I would go just a couple of inches deeper than the sleeve is long. Any deeper and you run the risk of not having the rim go all the way to 10 feet high. Putting it in the sleeve gives the whole thing more play when you're shooting which is not a good thing. They really should make the bottom post longer so you can sink it deeper for better stability. Answer:	The ground sleeve is 16" in length, 14" of it will be in the concrete. Thus, 14" of the pole.

Answer:	Yes, you can hang it on a wall, but a wall mounting kit is not included. We have three separate mounting kits that are available. 8406SR is a standard mount that doesn't lift, and 8839SR is a mount that uses a ratchet lift to raise the system in 6" intervals from 7.5' to 10'. Lastly, is the 316 mount, which is an infinite adjust, and raises it from 7.5' to 10'.
Question:	Is the backboard water proof or water resistant? I want install it outdoor when wet with the rain
Answer:	The Huffy Backboard is water resistant. We live in Arizona where it is extremely hot, yet the color on the backboard has not changed. This one is much better compared to the expensive one that we were given when we built our swimming pool.

Answer:	It is standard NBA size. I believed that once I purchased this set that I would be well on my way to the pros. It has yet to happen but I’m still chasing my dreams. I’m shooting about 60% from the free throw line. If I can raise that to 75% and start grabbing the rim I’m going to try out for the Pacers.

Answer:	You must attach to house by screwing through the siding into a STUD. You don't say what kind of siding you have but the studs behind it are probably 16 inches apart. You want to pre-drill the holes for the screws slightly smaller than the screws so that the threads pull into the wood to secure the bracket. Do not over tighten as it will strip the holes and the bracket will NOT be securely attached. If you are unsure about doing this HIRE A PROFESSIONAL. If the wall is brick - HIRE A PROFESSIONAL.

Answer:	Got this for a Christmas gift for our son. He played on it for at least 30 minutes each weekday and 2-3 hours each Friday-Sunday. He dunked constantly and it held up VERY well for the first 6 weeks. BUT, he performed an average dunk tonight and the back board broke in half, and as the half with the hoop attached to it, fell to the ground, it cut his hand slightly. Before tonight I would have given this product 5-stars. I plan to contact the manufacturer to find out more. If I find out anything, I'll report back here again.

Answer:	No. It comes with rods, threaded on one end and with a hook on the other to anchor the base in the concrete.

Answer:	The J-Bolt plate is 9X9 but the bolt pattern for the plate is 7X7.

Answer:	We dug down 3 feet. We love the system. Very, very solid and it looks like it belongs at a home and not in a playground.
Question:	Can this system be installed in an indoor court?, we have a huge warehouse in a community center
Answer:	I don't see why not - but you will need to dig down through the concrete foundation of the warehouse, which can be done if you rent the right tools. I can imagine it will take a lot of strength and patience. Just be sure to look up how far down the hole should go and how much concrete to put in. We overdid it a bit - going down about 4 feet - I think only 2-3 is required - just do a little research. Consider how far down the concrete slab of your warehouse goes - if you're digging through concrete with a rented digger it will take a long time and will require hiring someone to do it or taking turns with some strong men with strong backs!

Answer:	Awesome portable hoop system. Spalding Beast! There is no comparison...but you need a couple of body builders and massive muscles, and sweat and persistence to put it together. Instructions do not even convey level of difficulty. For example, with fitting two pole into each other, I needed a tall ladder and lifted it 5 ft in air and pounded it into a board until I got the minimum 4" travel fit. Took about 6 hrs of pounding. Quite a workout! good luck and be careful. If you can find someone to do it, definitely have them do it if they have done it before. ( not many have done it!)
