| Answer: | If the repair area were no more than a few inches in length, i would try applying a piece of Gorilla brand duct tape over the tear, as long as the surface is clean and dry. This is a very high quality tape, with outstanding adhesive properties and great durability. The color of this tape is also similar to the color of the bottom of the sled. As long as you avoid rocks or patches of exposed pavement, the repair should last a while. However, i wouldn't consider this a permanent fix. You may have to occasionally replace the tape, but this shouldn't affect the performance of this product. |

| Answer: | If there are parts that will rust it’s going to be many years down the road I’ve had mine for three years no rust but all metal parts are either coated or chromed or painted and there is a possibility that layer will wear off and you will get some rust but I would not worry about it. The Hammer is awesome. |

| Answer: | No safety equipment but as you can see in the picture it does come with an adjustable strap for you to be able to pull it back up the hill. It's a velcro strap that can be removed if you don't want to use it. |
