I received my jacket, put it on and got underneath a shower with the shower going full force with the back of the jacket right up against the shower head for about 20 minutes. Not a drop. The fabric shed the water instantly. It was waterproof for me. I do not know what these people are talking about. If for some reason your DWR Coating is not working or it has worn off, replenish it with Graingers DWR Treatment. They are supposed to be the best. The jacket is well made, with good seam closure and well designed. It would be worth the trouble. Very good value for the money.

Answer:	Hi. I purposely wore mine in a downpour for 1.5 hours. I had treated it with Granger’s spray. I was dry. You may want to carefully consider sizing choice. I’m close to 180 C.M. tall and 180 pounds. I wish I had purchased a large so I could layer under the jacket. Mine is about 2 years old and holding up fine.
Question:	Would this be a good jacket for very cold weather say 30 degrees or less
Answer:	I've had the Rothco version of this (well many of them, I buy one every other year), I use them for winter bike commuting in Northeast Ohio. They do not work as a stand alone jacket at that temperature but they can't be beat for wind/rain/snow protection and rugged protection from scrapes and falls at this price. Buy one size too big, then add layers. I use a wicking baselayer tech tee or bike jersey, my regular clothes, then an insulated non-water/windproof hoodie with face mask built in, then this shell. I've been comfortable down to 5-10F (with appropriate gloves, socks, pants, etc).

Answer:	The Resolve 1 had a snap at the bottom of the zipper for the storm flap. The new one has velcro. I hated it at first, but it seems to be placed perfectly, and works really well too. The shoulders seem just a tad wider also. I'm older so I love that too. The grey/navy is what I bought. It is just a shade or two darker than the pictured model. I've grown to like the Resolve II better than the Resolve I.
Question:	I am 6' tall weigh about 222 what size should I get
Answer:	Ok will try my best to assist. My husband is only 5'9" and normally a medium and I got him a large. He tells me it fits fine with a fleece or sweatshirt under. In my opinion it is a bit short but hubs says it goes below butt. Well I will get my eyes checked. So I recommend min. XL, OR 1X if they carry that. He loves it if that helps

Answer:	I am 5'11" - 224 lbs with a slight gut @ 59 y/o and the XXL fits great. (Tag reads XXL) Enough room to wear a shirt/t-shirt and a fleece zip-up if needed. The jacket has a thin layer of fleece and it is a perfect Fall/Spring jacket. There are so many great features designed into this jacket - for the price point, I am very impressed. Only caveat, the main front zipper is European - on the reverse side from American clothing.

Answer:	Try the 686 GLCR ADVANCE THERMAGRAPH JACKET. You still need a fleece layer under it. Can also go with UA Base 4.0 or Base 5.0 long sleeve tops. Those are super warm. Made for sitting in a tree all day in the cold. You start moving, and it's like a fire in your jacket. You still need a good jacket to block the wind and rain. 686 makes good stuff. You are not going to get -20 gear for under $175.

Answer:	Probably not. I'm 6'3" 170lbs. I have the XXL and I wish the sleeves were just an inch or two longer. It's a little baggy in the chest but not by much. I'm guessing he would need XXL or XL for the length
