Answer:	I would order probably order Extra Small or Small. Our son wears a 4 and the Small was a little too big for him. You want them to be snug to avoid sand from getting in, so the smaller the better.

Answer:	I would not recommend these booties/ socks for that! I use them as a padding between my flippers and my feet when scuba diving

Answer:	they will allow some in. Unfortunately because ankles flex and move so much, and everyone has a different shape to them, there will never be a 100% tight seal to prevent it. I would look at the Aqua Socks grip socks by VIncere as an alternative where it has more of a rubberized sole which isn't as loose of a weave and may prevent more sand from getting in.

Answer:	I am an 8.5 (but some shoes fit in a 9) and I ordered mediums just because I wanted the socks to be on the loose side than small. I've had mine for the last year and they work great and fit perfectly. I think you should consider a small, I was looking online and seavenger suggest women size 7-8 to get a small 9-10 mediums since you're closer to the 7/8 size I'd try the small and see how it goes. Check what the return/exchange policy of the seller is, just in case. Hope that helps.
