Answer:	I can’t specifically answer about the difference. I haul a 16’ wooden canoe (75 lbs) that is 39” wide at the thwart with no difficulties.

Question:	Can you mount the cart underwater before the yak comes out onto the boat launch? I have the beach type cart and the wheels are too buoyant do this
Answer:	Yes, you can, although not very efficient, this method works: Remove the wheels and axle. Run a cord down into each vertical steel tubing, securing it with a double knot out the bottom ends. Replace the axle and wheels. Run the cord up into the scupper holes from the bottom of the kayak, pulling the trolley into place, leaving enough slack for the trolley to be removed and stored in the kayak. Once you've determined this length, cut, melt, and tie the two ends together using a double grapevine knot. Install the trolley to get the yak to the water. Before launching, tie a seperate tether onto the trolley to retrieve it later. Launch the yak with the trolley in place. The trolley will remain in place because the wheels float (IMPORTANT NOTE: secure all cordage taught after launching to help prevent any hangups in debris/pedal/trolling motor propellers). Once you are away in deeper water, you can remove the trolley by pushing down on the vertical supports and retrieving it by pulling on the tether line. Store the trolley, again, making sure all lines are taught and secure. Before landing, reverse this process, placing the trolley into the water, pushing the trolley under the boat and pulling on the lines until the supports begin to allign with the scupper holes (this may require rocking the boat side to side, in order overcome the buoyancy of the wheels), and pulling the supports into place (no need for a tether at this point). You are now ready to land and pull the yak to the car! Again, I developed this system for my Brooklyn PK14' Tandem Pedal Kayak, now with a trolling motor but, it takes a bit of patience to get all this to work smoothly. Landing gear, ie; Hobie/Boonedox is the preferred method but, my setup exceeds it's weight limit of 150lbs.

Answer:	I'm not sure what a native watercraft slayer propel 10 is. Hobie Kayak is a specific kind of kayak with "special everything" as far as parts go. Hobie products fit Hobie Crafts and nothing else. My kayak is the sport model--it has holes in the back that correspond to the width and depth of the "cart." If there is a Hobie dealer near you, you could ask them, but I don't think it will work unless your 'watercraft' is a Hobie product. Even if it is, there are certain parts for certain models within the Hobie line. I hope this helped.
