Answer:	The back is 17" in height and 20 " across. The seat is 14.5" wide by 12" deep. The seat is a higher quality than the manufactures original. It also includes an extra carring case for two bottles of refreshment. In conclusion, I will purchase anothe when the other original seat fails.

Answer:	Yes. It will fit any kayak that has deck loops or d rings. If you get it you'll see what I mean. I actually bought a pack of steel d-rings so I could have more options for places to attach the straps. I recommend this seat. It's a huge improvement over the super junky seats that all the cheap brands come with. Mine is a future beach 12' fishing kayak. I know for my kayak it should have said "seat" in quotation marks.

Answer:	I have a sundolphin journey 10 which is pretty similar. Fits just fine. Had to add padeyes to fasten the rear of the seat as the sun dolphins don't have very many fasten points.

Answer:	Mine had a brass colored intake for gas. The one I put on has a grey/silver intake for the gas it worked on first pull and has been This should be the last weekend for cutting the lawn this year. So I am going to remove the carb and clean it out and set it on the shelf till spring of next year. The ethanol in gas cause too many problem for me to leave the carb on.

Answer:	if physical carb matches old carb you can switch all the parts from the old to the new (choke shaft and throttle shaft). If it doesn't you'll have to get that carb. Sounds like an older carb and they have made changes.

I'm 5'11" and drive a Nissan Rogue Sport and the straps are really a hassle. You can't wear hats at all or your head will constantly be in contact with a strap. And yeah I've moved it forward and backward.

Answer:	To attach the seat to a sit-on-top kayak there must be four D-ring fittings on the deck of the kayak - two forward and two aft. If the kayak doesn't have these already they can be purchased on Amazon for a small amount, just search for 'kayak D-rings'. Once you have, or if the kayak already has, the four D-rings you simply clip the straps to these and adjust as necessary. I hope this helps.
