Answer:	My son is 47" and 47#, 7 year old, bean pole he wears a size 6. It fits well, a little loose at his belly, snug fit in arms and legs. You can cuff the ankles and wrist without any problem. If the suit is tight then the water in the suit doesn't stay warm. My son still prefers to wear his swim shirt under his. He swims 3 days a week in a public pool that is 77-80 degrees.
