Answer:	The drawer itself is 2" deep, the front storage tray is 1", made for pens etc. The drawer itself is heavy duty plastic and latches when you close it. Very easy to open even when it has been latched shut. The rails it glides on are 100% steel with ball bearings, very smooth opening and closing. Would I buy it again, yes, from my perspective it is a quality product, easy to install and should last a long time.
Question:	There is a lip at the edge of the underside of my desk. Has anyone installed this on a similar surface
Answer:	Yes, I shimmed it (the underside of the desk) with a piece of 3/8" plywood which in my case was enough to allow the drawer to pass the lip of the edge of the desk.

Answer:	No, it has about 2/3 or maybe 3/4 extension.
Question:	This drawer looks fantastic, but do I really need to turn my 100 pound desk upside down to install it
Answer:	No, no need to turn your desk upside down. That would be total waste of time. It attaches to the bottom of the desk with 4 screws, one in each corner of the draw. Simply lay on you back under the desk, hold the draw in position with one hand, then attach screw with your powered screw driver in your other hand. Entire install takes about 2 minuets including unpacking of the draw. It is a great draw. Not very deep so it stays out of your way.

Answer:	They are about 1/2" in length. Bear in mind, that there will be a little less length in total from the metal slide itself. When I used this on my bureau, I had no issues at all, and they were a perfect fit. The quality of these slides is actually better than the originals I had, and they are smooth sliding, and quiet. They have a good amount of lubricant, so you may want to use some nitrile gloves when handling them to keep your hands cleaner. Most drawer slides are made to standards, and the screws that come with them are also of standard sizes, so no worries there.
Question:	There were no directions included. Does anyone know how to release the inner latch to get the glide out to adhere the 3rd screw securely
Answer:	When the drawer slide is pulled out all the way, a small lever will be visible. Push that to the side and the inner glide will be released from the outer part. Not sure that's clear. I agree there's no instruction - all such slides work about the same way. Hard to someone doing it for the first time.
