| Answer: | Actually if the height of your door opening is at least 32" then you should be able to install it. It will be tricky to get in their and get it together but I think you could do it. I am a home builder....I know I am a woman but I have been a cabinet maker for over 30 yrs and a home builder for 20. I think you could do it without removing the countertop. You would have to put both shelves in first and then you could push the pole into the opening and set the shelves on the bottom and put the pole through it while it is in the cabinet and then lift each shelf into position and set your set screw. You would have to put your upper and lower brackets in first. It would be tricky but it could be done depending on the width of your cabinet opening.....because you are going to have to reach up in there with both hands. |

I'd point you to using a skateboard bearing type oils, especially if it's sealed; it will get inside, easily. This Lucas grease has the same consistency as a toothpaste gel, but this is pure white. Also, oil used for clocks would be quite good. You don't want one that is heavy that could slow the speed of the turntable. A drop of 3-in-1 would be great. Stronger sweet petro smell but I do like it, myself. Another is Marvel Mystery Oil. That would be good, too. |

| Answer: | it depends on the motor - most fans now days are sealed - what I did on some fans that where sealed is to drill a very small hole from the top of the bearing housing to get the oil into the oil area - a lot of the motors have a reservoir of felt that holds the oil for the bearing - the manufacture assumes you'll throw the fan away when the bearing goes dry - now one of my fans had a place to add oil and it was easy to re-lube the bearings -- |
