Answer:	From what I can tell, yes it shuts off. There is a small blue light that tells you if you are properly positioned to receive a charge. My Samsung 6 phone the blinks red and the screen lights up with a % charged, telling me its correctly on the charger. then blinks as its charging. the little blue light on the charger its self turns off when my phone reached 100% so I assume it turns off and stops charging. Answer:	I would say yes. My 11yo is 5 ft, my 14yo is 5'9". The handle bars seem a little taller and a little wider then some of the others, but my boys are very happy with theirs.

And my girlfriend is 5'5 and she rides mine without any problem either, but she does prefer her KOS s6 (with the park bars which are much more skinnier/less wide and about 1-2 inch shorter height).
