Answer:	This is exactly what I use these for. When you are finished with the sanding you will never know the nub was there. I have built app 5 or 6 model buildings for my railroad layout and these are the only sticks I am using.

Answer:	My 13 year-old could barely get the hang of standing on Concrete, so she hasn't attempted off-road. Looking at the wheel Set-up, it doesn't seem to be built for off-road though.
