Answer:	Remember, grip tape is like sandpaper. While some technology is better than others, at some point, the shoe you are skateboarding will deconstruct. It's inevitable. But, suede will always be a better option than canvas. Also, depending on how much you are skateboarding, a shoe's longevity could be anywhere from 3 weeks to 2 months.

Question:	Are these good for running
Answer:	I have put a little over 290 miles on them over the past 2 months and I am about to retire them for a new pair. Here’s my take. They are lightweight and are pretty decent at absorbing shock. Energy return is so/so - if your looking for a shoe that has a little more bounce to it these may not be the shoe for you. I prefer a light shoe with a natural feel so this is a great shoe and it’s at a much lower price point than other brands like Hoka etc. The fit is also great with a slip on design that is very comfortable around the tongue and heel. The toe box isn’t too narrow but I should mention it’s is subject to some stretching out due to the knit design. This can cause some forward sliding of your foot into the toe box on longer downhill grades if your the type of runner that lands on the ball of your foot. Also - If you run a decent amount the sole of the show will wear out pretty quickly as mine starting showing some real wear around 1 month /140 mile mark. That said it’s probably a good idea to replace any running shoe no matter the brand at the 250-300 mark anyway if you want to ensure good shock absorption. At the price point this shoe is offered at you can buy almost 4 pairs for the price of some higher end running shoes so I think it’s a great deal especially if you need to cycle your running shoes for optimal performance.

Answer:	I changed out the wheels on these to Atom Omegas and the bearings to Bones Reds. This was a good upgrade for this skate, especially the bearings. The bearings that come on these skates do not give much spin and you'll be pushing hard to keep it moving.

Answer:	The stock bearings are very very slow but I think that is due to the grease which could be thinned with with WD-40 to speed them up and loosen the wheel nuts to increase spin speed. 78 hardness (black) wheels that came with my skates provide WAY too much traction indoors and make it hard to turn. I replaced them with Bones Team wheels in a hardness of 98A and a small 57mm diameter which makes it much easier in the rink to skate and do tricks and also is a little faster. Outside the wheels are softer over bumps but still provide too much traction even on smooth concrete.
