The insulation seems to compress with little rebound. Attractive styling and durable. They are fine for what they are made for-skiing. Just keep moving.

Answer:	These are designed as a ski glove, and will probably wear down faster than you'd like if you're using it as a work glove. There are Hestra Job gloves that may work better - maybe the Kobolt WinterFlex CZone gloves would be a better choice.

Answer:	You can wear whatever you want, but proper motorcycle gloves are made from leather that is much more abrasion resistant kangaroo leather for example and stitched in a different way with much stronger material. Usually nylon wrapped in cotton or Kevlar. Normal gloves will come apart like paper in a crash. And its human reflex to put your hands out. My advice, buy proper motorcycle gloves for riding.

Answer:	They are not designed for use in water, so we cannot say how they would hold up. They are also not tested for UV protection in water, so it could provide less than UPF 50+ when wet.

Answer:	My hand measures 71/2 inches and I purchased a medium and they are form fitting and very soft and I wear them under gloves. I have another I purchased a couple of years ago as a L/XL and where them over gloves. The first pair has had much use and has held up well. I have waited a long time for the Coolibar brand to come back to Amazon. The newer pair says they can be tumble dried but I air dry both pairs. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Look for the items marked ZnO fabric. I find this the coolest. They are using different fabric types for diff pieces. ZnO fabrics feel like a smooth bamboo jersey lightweight knit, kind of like thin t shirt material. I find the other fabrics get clingy and dont breathe as well, theyre more a silky/polyester feel. My favorite piece is the Maritis Wrap. I have it in a bunch of colors. It is ZnO and u just throw it over whatever you're wearing and go! I find it the most useful item of all.

Answer:	I think this is a US company out of Minneapolis. The product is excellent. I've bought several. Easy to hand wash. They dry fast. I use them everyday. Question:	Reviews & comments are confusing. DO these fox river 4 layer gloves have the 3m thinsulate insulation between the wool and the fleece layers or not
Answer:	I'm about to return mine because they DO NOT have even a fleece lining at all - it's just wool with leather palms...

Answer:	I don't buy a lot of gloves that come in sizes, so I will try to explain how the size I bought seems right. First, I am a woman with hands that usually are too large for anything designated women's "one size fits all". So I would say my hands are a little larger than average (but I can't palm a basketball or anything like that...). I purchased these gloves in size medium, and I am happy with how they fit. Fingers are just about the right length, and no part of the glove is unusually tight or too loose. Hope this helps.

Answer:	"Unisex" labels in the gloves. In reality unisex is sized for men. I'm a small woman and my size S gloves are a little roomy but not a problem.

Answer:	Light weight. Adds virtually nothing to backpack. I wear them hiking in all weather conditions for sun protection. Extra layer is actually nice in cold and rain. Very cold I slip gloves over them.

Answer:	Hi, I highly recommend this glove because I ordered 3 different ones, and the other 2 were really bulky and uncomfortable. I have small relatively thin hands and I ordered the size small. they fit perfect with still some breathing room.. but I do think the tighter the better so you can continue to do ordinary tasks, if you get them too big they will be loose and hard to work with. hope this helps

Answer:	Per Outdoor Research's web site size M should fit my hands. So, I ordered size L which was so tight I had to peel the gloves off. So, I ordered size XL which is tight but not too tight. BTW, do not hesitate to order size XL if you think it might be too big as it is only slightly larger than size L.
